@interspark I believe he was one of those considered for Doctor #7 before Sylvester Mccoy was chosen. I also believe Hugh Grant was considered for #9 before Eccleston. I'll explain later.
Richard E Grant has played the Doctor in two roles. The other being Scream of Shalka; an attempt to revive the series through an Internet animated show but was then dropped after SoS when the Beeb decided to do it live.
Personally I liked E Grant's role as he a portayed a dark gophic type of Doctor.
"Nice Tits", "What Better Way to end my career than saving you metal Gits"
*Explosions* new regeneration "Oh Bugger" next regen "oh dear look at that ive gone through 3 whole bodies in under a minute" final regen "Are you sure? i think ive found the On switch" with the sonic screwdriver "oooh look its got three settings!"
They'd make an awesome couple. They've always fancied each other. The whole enemies thing started in the first place because of the Master's jealousy over the Doctor's relationship with Jo Grant. (Kidding, but it'd be funny.)
Yes, well, Richard E. Grant can have that effect on people. He's a rather tasty fellow.
He certainly has the potential to make a fine Doctor. I mean, he's sort've already been the Doctor, but flash animation webisodes don't really count, do they?
They made him look like a Victorian vampire in "Scream of the Shalka". Very grim. But enjoyable in its way.
yup exactly what i said in the part 1.1. we are definitely in for a treat in the new season. Steven moffat has been incredible in his contributions to the new series.

you know this is kind of sad considering the fact, as far as a Good Man Goes to War, the apparently most future version of the Doctor is dead.
wintermoons1215 8 months ago
@wintermoons1215
Even more odd is the fact the ray killed the doctor...I wonder if they do the same with the series? Hmmmmm I can see something
lilmissglentoran 7 months ago
maybe even the universe can't bear to be without the doctor.

Joanna Lumley = ??? (Alex Kingston?)
