Will I be able to run this game on PCSX2 smoothly with an upscaled resolution and no bugs/slowdowns? My CPU is a quad core and I know that the emulator does not use four cores/threads. But anyway, PC specs: Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.07 GHz, ATI Radeon HD 6770, 12 GB RAM

anyone else have the problem where you cant get past the memory card screen once you boot the game up? my controller is configured and it works with all other games but when the memory card screen asks me to save to the card i cant move the cursor or anything.
if i may ask, i'm attempted to get fraps 3.2.3 working properly with DragonQuest 8, i'm having issues with it. pc specs: amd Phenom 2 x6 thuban 1090t, gskill 2x2gb, 750 wd hdd (the newer one with the dual processors), and a gtx 260 (msi dual frozr oc)

in fraps i set mine to record at 60FPS, and lock framerate.
i had the PCSX2 Res at 1920 x 1080 witch makes this video HD.
most ps2 games don't run this fast on normal directly from DVD Drive, (although this one does) i would recommend ripping the ps2 game to your hard-drive (huge increase in speed) and enable as many speedhackds with it being stable.
also make sure that nothing else is writing to the hard drive at the same time as recording.
@DaRkStAr197 ok, and ok.. i use 1280 by 720, in an attempt to get rid of issues pertaining directly to dq8. i lock frames too, kk, on the dvd drive thing, i dont use the drive, i make SURE to rip the game, and then at some point, i'll like break out the back of the jewel case and read from it to prove that you know, i have the game. i like iso's better than dvds, i have one of those DRU-810a's from sony, one of the ok dvd drives, so i can pull isos quickly. are you using a beta build?
@DaRkStAr197 NICE. i personally use lily pad with my xbox 360 usb controller, since we have a 360 and my son sometimes demands that i be his wingman in games :)

instead of playing this on a emulator... you could just buy the pc version and install the graphic mods, which make it look like the best version.

@ninjagirl625 i think you've confused ram for hardrive. no consumer computer has 74gb of ram. they usally have between 1 and 8
