The only thing I hate about this fight is the Super Nova attack. It has to be one of the longest, most ridiculous and unskipable attacks I have ever seen in a game. If they ever remake this game someday, I hope they allow you to skip scenes like that.

@bbllplyr323 I love FF9, but I have to disagree with you. Mainly beacuse of the trance system. Unlike Limit breaks, it takes too long for it to charge, you can't choose wheter you want to active it or not it, instead it stars automatically even in fights that you don't need to use it, and then it goes back to zero again after battle. Batlles are also a little slower compared to FF7 IMO.

Yeah, so on my first save game, I decided to skip all the battles and extra stuff, just wanted to go along with the plot. I was a level 53 when I faced sephiroth. And on my team, thanks to the onsluaght of strong monsters and jenova parts, on my team was a dead Red XIII, a weak Cain, and Cloud. No need to tell you how quick the final battle was for me....to lose

i remember the first time i made my way to this battle, i fought sephiroth for over 1 hour ¬¬ cuz he used some efect to transfor my chars into frogs O.O & i didnt have something to change that, and after 30-40 mins something hapened and cloud changed back to normal and then i finally killed him ^^

when i first got to this battle at age 9, i swear i had never been more pumped up and anxious while playing a game in my entire life. but then angel sephiroth annihilated me again and again to the point where i just gave up and had to start over. i made the mistake of using the save point in a place that made it impossible for me to get out without dying because my characters were so weak. didn't end up beating this until i was 11 or so.

or use knights of the round and win in one or two hits, but thats so wussy. emerald and ruby weapon are the real challenges, fuck theres nothing like the satisfaction of beating those assholes.
