It's a good thing Mitt Romney doesn't impose his conservative values on the State of Massachusetts. It shows that he is aware of mainstream issues such as LGBT rights, which leaves room for improvement for fighting for human rights. For a conservative guy like Romney, it takes courage to be a straight ally to the LGBT community, but it's worth it.

Romney will do more for the gay community than Ted Kennedy. That was his pledge when he ran for Senate and it continues to this day. Romney is personally responsible for Mass becoming the very first state to have Gay Marriage.

Besides, it isn't like there aren't thousands of heterosexual couples out there waiting to adopt children.

I agree... Romney would have more chances than NeoCon McCain anyday... He's lost now, which as a right-leaning Libertarian, am happy, but Romney Flip-Flops too much as well. Romney is more pro-gay and pro-choice than most other Republicans. So my choices would be either Paul or Romney... Or from the left, it would be Kucinich. I wouldn't know too many other people who are centrist like me
