If the amount of money in the system is up 70%, does that mean that the value of a "dollar" back in October is now actually worth around 60 cents as compared to just months ago?

Just doing some quick math.. if we had a 100% increase in money (twice as much cash flowing), then we have half the worth (1.00 -> .50). 70% would be slightly less, so should we expect (assuming this continues) that prices should easily double.

just like when ron paul debated in north carolina for the presidency last year and PWNED all the other candidates! rudy giuliani, being the butthole that he is, tried to gain favor by acting self righteous (and ignorant at that) and shoot down, or tried to shoot down ron paul. ron is untouchable because he speaks of reality and freedom the way america was meant to be.

In terms of Politics, Paul may not be a great politician because he actually tells the truth. Unlike all the others, he acknowledges that you cannot spend money you don't have and government is not a real solution for those who appreciate freedom. Just because it is clear that a stimulus package is going to happen, doesn't make it right. He is choosing not to be a lemming. I say congratulations to Ron Paul for speaking sense even if others in Washington choose not to pay attention.

Paul may be the dumbest politician on the planet. There is obviously going to be a stimulus bill passed. Now while he is busy pissing and moaning about it, the serious and effective legislators are all busy working to make it the best one possible. Some folks are doers while others are complainer. Paul is the latter.
