Hope Microsoft Flight put in the real FMC in to the plane so we can be the real PC pilot not like FSX with out one so we don't have to buy the high cost add on and make all airport very realistic including VTBS Thai Airport, and TNCM and all other realistic airport.

Nice! God I remember the first time I played FS when I was a kid on a Commodore 64, big floppy disk...lol. I have to dig up my old 2004 version and HOPE my PC can handle it now.

need to team up with shockwave/accusim, should have an addition that includes the mighty b17 by accusim. they do incredible work. they even modeled the turbo-charging systems, oxygen system, moveable windows, full crew that even complains when they are cold, realistic electrical systems with a functional APU. makes you realize how poor the model is of the dc3 that comes with it. common microsoft, you could do better than that. i want PURE realism.

@crymetyme320 FSX was built off of old programming, apparently this one is being built from the ground up. So hopefully with better programming you can get better graphics with the same demand.

@MBW006x Sounds wonderfull - that is what I have been waiting for a long time. The graphic engine in FS have really been sucking up much RAM without performing anything in return! Maybe they could build it on Wings Of Pray's engine - thats really a fine machine working there!

@INFORISISY Technically, you could make it as high as you want, but there is no reason to make it any better than 1080p, your eyes couldn't really tell the difference between that and something higher. YouTube supports formats up to 4096p if you want to post something that high.

1/4/5. FSX was a fat resource pig, even purpose built systems cannot feed it. I wouldn't be expecting a massive leap in graphics without the performance dropping exponentially (again)

2. They wont, if it comes down to weight. Microsoft (and Boeing) would much prefer to put the 787 in.

3. Microsoft are going for playability here... Wii style. Don't expect extreme fidelity that these two would produce. its not what MS want for this game.

Basically, this is not FS 11.

I'll wait for the reviews before I buy. If it is more like an arcade game, chances are it won't allow for 3rd party addons. I hope that isn't the case. MS hasn't really given us much to go on, but the fact that "Simulator" has been dropped from the title concerns me. It’s a little hard to imagine that this is a true continuation of the “simulator” franchise, since MS fired the Aces team that developed the product.
