Ryo is actually using Roland GK1 GS pickup on Yamaha SA2000. GK1 is connected to GM-70 guitar to MIDI converter. Now, using GM-70, you can assign various MIDI parameters (such as assigning different strings/pitches to different MIDI channels etc) to be transmitted from MIDI out on GM70. And then this single MIDI cable connected to the back of GM-70 is connected to MIDI box with multiple MIDI output ports that can be connected to different samplers and sound modules, Samplers used: S900 & S550.
I just wanted to know how did you have the S550 hooked up to be able to play your Guitar with the Samplier. I have this unit but I'm lost as far as how to use the samplier for sample sounds. Please help me so i can use my samplier this way thank you..
