I have compared this amp to my VIBE DOLPHIN 20 and… my Vibe is sooo much better!
Vibe Dolphin it has more drive and sustain, is more dynamic, it’s lighter and it has a great reverb and tremolo sounds! Last but not least, Vibe is cheaper!!

What's the difference in the Hot Rod Series Blues Junior. I know some of them come in weird colors and shit. Are all Blues Juniors part of the "Hot Rod Series"?
@nmcclure79 there is only one difference aside from the colors. There are two separate limited edition models out there. The one is a Texas Red version and it has a Celestion I believe. I own the new limited edition Tweed model and that one has a Jensen in it. Otherwise, it's just the stock model with a different vinyl covering.
I have both Blues Juniors. They both shine at different things. The tolex amp has the most beautiful clean tones, annd the tweed has balls, big balls...I would like to run them together one day, get the best of both worlds.

Your just ignorant. In reality, none of those guitarists had nearly as much influence as hendrix did. It wasnt the fact that he couldnt sweep pick like they did. So what if he couldnt play as "fast" as they could, he played better, with an incredible amount of emotion and creativity. he invented a style of guitar that never gets old. If you told anyone of those guitarists that, they would probably punch you in the face. Your an idiot.
@Matthy88 real tone is in the hands, a player with a similar playing style to hendrix but with a les paul will sound more like hendrix than most wannabe's with a strat. granted, having the same gear helps, but tone is never absolute.
i like both fenders and gibsons, but you to try realy hard to get a good blues tone out of a gibson, blues just pour out of fenders, the even sound blues unplugged.
It actually sounds really nice, this guy is just one of those people who can have the greatest gear on Earth and still find a way to make it sound like crap.
True, but pretty much any Gretsch will. Generally though, I think Gretsches (at least the Jets) are warmer, more resonant, and rounder. Not sure if a Tele could ever accomplish the same the way a Gretsch Jet does.

the twang is mostly in his gretsch. those electromatic guitars will rival a tele for twang.
