I think they pretty much rewrote Kit's char to make her Bette's 1/2 sister. The biracial angle, I believe, was dealt with honestly with Tina's reaction to an Afro-American donor and Melvin's reaction too.

Other races? I don't know. Having Janina and Sarah (who I think are part Indian and Persian each) playing Latinos might offend some people. But at the end of the day, tough. Race labels are the same as sexualiaty labels, meaningless.....
