In Germany they hardly broadcast any Julie Andrews movies on TV because she's not very well-known here. Nevertheless, THIS movie was broadcast about two weeks ago (at six in the morning, but anyway... :D). Well, I recorded it so I have a videotape-record now (alas, in german, but well...), it's such a lovely and funny movie!! Yesterday I saw it for the very first time and I think it'll become my one and only holiday classic! :D (apart from "Sissi" of course ;-)...)
@Schrotter0512 It's the same here so I know the feeling of being excited about a Julie movie being on TV even if it is at 6 in the morning or on Christmas Eve!! when Hawaii was on TV here...
This is such a sweet movie and Julie and Garner are great together! So it's an absolute favorite of mine too. The original (non dubbed version) is on youtube if you want to watch it :)
One of my favourite Julie films too :) I laughed the first time when she fell why telling James Garner "you're a pain in the aAAAA !" Also, good to see the couple Andrews/Garner back on the screen.
