I remember there was a logo with the 4 blocks in silver in a blue oval, using the same music as the original.

Not sure if you're talking about Golden Harvest Home Entertainment (ident for its videos), which had the big G in gold color inscribed into a blue TV-screen-shaped background.

if it aint broke, don't fix it! been so long since I have seen a good recent HK film, I think I have missed seeing that new GH logo. i remember back in the day where there was a GH cinema here in downtown Toronto. Love the idea of compiling these logos. BRAVO!

i prefer the most common golden harvest logo. that theme music is also used by "nerd world" cinema in the philippines.
