@parside1 Hardworking? You must not be from the mid-state area of Michigan. It's the other way around here- local farmers markets are lazy on EVERYTHING, with no real supporting service.

I absolutely feel your pain, friend. I worked for a Michigan Meijer for five years, and I got fired because a new manager simply did not like me either. Five years of solid and complaint-free work gone just because some new kid did not like me. And some help my Union was - like none! I still hate this store for this.

Meijer meats give you salmonella and ecoli, their milk is outdated, and everything else is made in China. But who cares, it's three cents cheaper than the supermarket!!! God Bless America!

This ad has been playing locally here in the Toledo area. This aired during an episode of CSI that I TiVo-ed. The Meijer chain of superstores is headquartered in Michigan.
I've noticed a trend in commercial advertising lately where they are using "Fortean" creatures to sell products. Case in point is the Toyota ad that features the Loch Ness monster!
