Does anybody else not see the absolute bullshit in Kingston's comment on being motivated by patriotism and not profit? How many of the soldiers enlisted because they needed the financial assistance? How many rich kids are enlisting because of their "patriotism"? Can we go to every rich kid who doesn't enlist and say they aren't patriotic? How many of the 535 on Capitol Hill send their kids off to war? How many of them are "patriots"?

kingston is a dick. i sat in that hearing and almost came unglued when he spoke for the soldiers at ft. stewart...my son is based out of there...who does kingston think he is that he can speak for the soldiers...he is an arrogant s.o.b. and i told him that later that day. and the next day i told his arrogant airforce sgt. irag rep. the same thing and more.

It has alot to do with membership, loyalty, and who you know. It has to do with the friendly politics of adversity. Probably someone should run some numbers on the difference in serious injury rate between the soldiers and their higher paid counterparts.

You can take someone like Kingston to school, but that doesn't mean he'll learn anything.
Go to Wikipedia and check out his positions. This guy is so fossilized in his thought process, you could probably carbon date his brain.
