I got the iPhone 4 in white last week. It's got a plastic look to it compared to my old 3gs which was shiny. What is better about the 4 versus the 3 is that it doesnt get all smudgy.

Ive always had black iphones so I went with the white this time. If I get the 5 I'm getting it in white.

BTW, I used to be with ATT when I had my 3gs, now I'm with Sprint. Sprint is soooooo slow compared to ATT.

i think the white one is more of a bright, refreshing color to look at when it comes to iPhones. Although, some people do prefer black on account that white is distracting when your gaming of even searching the web. thats why you will not see a white TV; they make black for a reason. But for most others, such as myself, it does not affect me either way. I feel as though white is a more iconic color for apple, and on those terms, personally, i would purchase the white one.

i think white is more iconic, as apple's main colours (imacs etc) are generally white. i would get a white one, as it feels more like something made by apple.
