  • this is so far the only tolerable thing on the new album in my opinion... i still prefer their first three album VASTLY. do yourself a favor, go listen to Red Light In MY Eyes part 1

  • Seeing Children of Bodom tonight @ Rams Head Live in Baltimore... Fuck yeah!!!

  • This is really good. I have gotten used to the new sound and fully embrace this.

  • old school metal...52, female and loving them..

these boyz love what they do and do what they love..

i can listen to them all day long.. addicting as crack

    epic..

  • @headbangermama1 haha dude thats legit. I wish my mom liked metal...shes a crazy mormon who thinks im satanic for being a metal head..:/

  • @ajhartmeta i feel for you... but remember that different gererations like different genres of music...there is nothing wrong with metal... it's a like it or leave it choice and it's not for everyone... just to make you see how broad my musical tastes are, i am going to the Metropolitan opera, in NYC on March 2nd to see Madam Butterfly with the great Placido Domingo, and the next nite i'm off to see COB,, again... with eluveitie... i'll be headbanging at the opera, too !!!!

  • @headbangermama1

Rofl I can totally connect with that. I have been privileged with only 3 concerts in my lifetime. The First one was a Sarah Brightman concert which was stunning and everything I could have ever wanted it to be. The second one was an Iron Maiden and Dream Theater concert which is my favorite one by a longshot (dear God it was awesome). The third one was a Buckethead concert which was unimaginably epic. I EVEN GOT A TOY!!! :D

  • @ajhartmetal

    Mormonism is satanic.

  • @Fluffypopcicle Definitely won't argue with you there haha it made for a very colorful childhood...sigh..lol

  • It took time... a long time to get used to this kind of CoB. Now, I can honestly say that even with their change, this is just TOO FUCKING COOL, like the rest of the songs on this album!

  • @xobrasxx man if this was pop i would listen to radio all day long :),

i don't know were u live but pop here doesn't sound a thing like cob :p

  • When I first heard Children of Bodom I was an embryo, now I still listen to them from hell, since my mom aborted me :(

  • COB FTW.

  • I can play the intro^^ but I'd like to play the whole song..

  • @DarkRecordsTrier Hehe same here ^^, but the intro is ma favourite part anyway :p

  • \m/

  • in my opinion this is the best song from their new album!,

i think they should make atleast one video for

relentless reckless frever and it should be for this song!

  • You are simply never too old to listen to music.

  • wen i first heard cob i was 94 now i'm 102 and i still love them jusst as much

  • @solo1979 haha epic comment XD

  • oh ya? well i just listened to cob for 51 seconds and than shut it off cause its terrible like a dirty bum hole...

  • Oh hi there Children of Bodom. Nice to see you back. Where were you these 7+ years? Oh I see, trying to suck up to the pop fans. Oh, I forgive you. Good comeback. Recognized your music the first I heard it from the radio. Who'd known? A band going back to it's roots! Thanks. Now you sound like CoB!

  • @hamiel85 what the fuck are you dickhead talkin' about?

  • @hamiel85 you're the only one sucking balls here

  • its so damn hard to sing along to this when you're a girl hahaha fucking awesome song though. wicked live

  • I'll see them!! AGAIN!! \o/

  • Intro and those last 44 secs wow!

  • lol both top comments are just about how long those guys listen to cob :p

  • Hitler, JustinBieber & Alexi Went to hell. They meet the Devil sitting on his throne, he asks them why they're in hell.

Hitler. I killed 20 million poeople & caused a holocaust on the Jewish population.

Devil. Good, good. Sit to my right.

Bieber. I poisned the world of music with my little faggy voice that irritates every normal person in the world.

Devil. You're such an a**hole. Well done, sit to my left. *Looks at Alexi*

    & why are you here?

Alexi: Get off me throne b***!!!

  • When I First Heard Children of Bodom I was 8 now i'm 19 and still strong, this band is my legend and my favorite too, and Alexi Laiho still being the best finland guitarrist of all times, from the beginning in Inearthed and Something Wild to Relentless Reckless Forever, COB still rocking dude We hope that this energy endure until the death comes for me... LONG LIFE TO CHILDREN OF BODOM!

  • esta muy groso este album

  • Children 0:00f B0:00d0:00m :D

    three free replay buttons ;)

  • Comment removed

  • The song sucks ...... At 3:48!! :D

  • gahhhhhd Alexi Laiho is a wicked wicked awesome guitarist

  • When I first heard Children of Bodom I was X years old now I'm X+k and still listen to them because my taste in music hasn't deteriorated.

  • 12 people were chose the dislike button because they prefer the color red.

  • Probably the best song from Relentless Reckless Forever. It fuses the old Bodom sound mixed with the thrashy vibe characteristic of their new stuff.

  • Clearly, my favorite song from this album.

  • Nov 17th at Fort Canning!! FUCK YEAH!! BODOM HATE CREW PIT HERE I COME!!

  • Only good song at the new album. Reminds me for the old CoB (HCD and earliers).

  • I think COB is good now. But I still prefering old COB u_u

  • Still going strong!

    HATE CREW

  • the new cob is pxre shit!!!!!

  • My only real complaint about the album is that they don't have a song with the word "Bodom" in it.

  • @tails696 The do have a song with 'Bodom' in it. Lake Bodom.

  • @runescapehalo3girl in their newest album :P

  • C.O.B.H.c Music genuis

  • Listen to this on game play 0:00 -30

  • that intro.

  • When I first heard Children of Bodom I was 47, now I'm 55, and I still listen to them, and go to every concert I can...I think these boys are some of the hardest working musicians out there, and they serve as inspiration for me as a working visual artist: moral being, you are never too young or old to like COB!

  • @pthalocyaninine Fucking right!

    finally someone gets it

  • @pthalocyaninine I listen them since i was 7 now i'm 14

  • @pthalocyaninine It just shows you have good taste in music. How could you not like COB? They're incredibly inspirational. I mean, come on, it's not everyday you find a guy who can make a guitar....speak! like Alexi Laiho can.

  • @pthalocyaninine Never heard of anyone who is 55 or even 40 and listening to COB.That's worth respect man!

  • @pr0dud3

Hey, thanks so much: what people never seem to understand is that my generation started out with Black Sabbath and Tony Iommi, and are so willing to embrace all the next gen here: we're not geezers: and in Seattle, there are a lot of older people at the COB shows.

  • Comment removed

  • COB are probably the ONLY band whose albums range from nearly all genres of metal...be it Atmospheric Black Metal, Neoclassical, Groove, Melodeath to even maybe Extreme Pop-metal (just kidding :P)...now it would be gr8 to see them do some thing like Melodic Technical Death Metal with some odd time-signatures to complex riffs laced with tasteful lead playing by Janne and Alexi AND ROOPE AAAAAANDDDD HENKKKA!! That would be the most ultimaate album ever!! :D

  • Stop associating the name Children of Bodom with a musical style. CoB is just the name of a band, it's their albums which define a specific musical style.

That being said, I like all of Children of Bodom, but their stage that inspired me the most and could drive me really crazy, was HCDR.

  • go bodom!

  • boring shit

  • @aassyr1111 fAWK YOU

  • 666 like \m/

  • I love bodom for the mixture of plus and minus. This horror music and sweet positive melody, they change roles everytime.

  • that´s real musik i love it

  • @christphert opinion not fact...

  • @christphert

What are the instruments for?? Pay attention to them.

  • Thats a riff!

I just can't ever like keyboard synths in my metal :(

I'm osrry, I love the guitar work but....

  • @Harrysound

    Stop whining...

  • Children of Bodom has awesome intros, since Lake Bodom!

  • ONE OF THE BEST INTROS IN HISTORY! :D

  • It's funny. The first time I hear a Bodom song I hate it, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. They used to be my most hated band, but now they are my favorite band.

  • Children of Bodom, I'll see you at Amoranto Theater in Quezon City, Philippines on November 19. VIP Tickets -> CHECK!

  • The old COB albums I was able to lisen start to finish, but some of the newer tracks I am not quite as stoked about. They were experimenting with different things which is sweet, because it allows the band to progress and become better. This song takes some of their old style and mixes it with the stuff they have learned to make one fucking kick ass song!

  • this song is so awesome my computer freezes each time the solo comes on. forreals.

  • WOW I TALKED SO MUCH BULLSHIT ABOUT THIS ALBUM AND IM SUCKING A BIG LARGE COCK,I CAN NEVER EXPECT TO HEAR THE OLD CHILDREN,BUT ALEXI IS A SUPERGODMOTHERFUCKER

  • why isnt the video on youtube??????

  • When I first heard Children Of Bodom I was 14 now I'm 20 and still listen to them they are my favorite band to listen to <3

  • @CobGeorge and bang your head to also :)

  • @darkstar913 ofc :D

  • @CobGeorge loll hell yea dude! real bodom fan.

  • @CobGeorge im right there with you...ell m 13...i thank my canadian friend to "converting" me to meloic dethmetal.....hip hop one of musics greatest downfalls..right?

  • @CobGeorge I was 13, now im 24 ^^ And nothing would happen if Blooddrunk doens exit

  • @CobGeorge Haha same here... I started listening to them because I watched a WoW video with downfall. I was 14. I am 20 now, dont really like CoBs new stuff though.

  • To expect a band - after 10 years of musical, cultural, and financial development - to sound exactly the same as they did when they released their first album, is madness.

In a parallel universe somewhere, where children of bodom still did sound the same after about 8 albums, you would be criticizing them for not developing and growing, as all musicians do.

  • blooddrunk is an epic album. why do you critisize it?

  • The intro sounds so f-cking promising.

  • 11 people have roundtrip to hell and don't back.

  • KEYBOARD SOLOOOO!!!!!!!! FUCK YES!

  • In my opinion this album is purely epic

Roundtrip to hell and back and Not my Funeral are masterpices

There first two albums were good but they cant stand against Hate Crew Deathroll Follow the Reaper and Relentless Reckless Forever because this band got many experience in there carriere and that you can realy listen out

  • COB - the best metal band I have ever heard

  • can somebody tell what genre is this song?????

i know that cob used to be the best in melo-death metal.

but now, it's not melo-death, not even regular death, dunno if it's better than deathcore or metalcore, and most of all, it's not CHILDREN OF BODOM-METAL anymore

so someone plz tell me, what genre is this????????????????????

  • @bonac123 I think it's "Fuckin awesome metal" with influences of "AssKickin" :D

  • @bonac123 why should this not be melodic death metal supported by key boards?

  • @infizus i know that this is still melodic death metal.

but what i try to say is that, it's not the same as what cob used to play.

what i mean is when you heard some song, u should be able to guess what band is playing, or close guess

but now cob is totally different different from before, beside the signature solo, there is no way of telling that this song is from cob beside reading its artist.

  • @bonac123 This change of bands can be seen everywhere. look at In Flames. Sounds of a playground fading is modern metal/metalcore for me, nothing melodic DEATH metal at all anymore. U wont find anything from old, classic and real in flames in this album, still its the same band (well nearly, jesper left).

COB has always been more commercial then other melodeath bands like at the gates or dark tranquillity, but what do you else expect? They have never claimed to be un-commercial. So they change.

  • @infizus you actually give me the point.

maybe it's justme that expect too much in this band. i was hoping that this band would be something like iron maiden, metallica thing that they r representing something they want to represent of. i listen to all of their albums and those album r almost the same thing (though the different, progress is notice, it's still close to their previous albums). so i expect cob to be at the same way. but when it didn't, it give me a huge disappointment in the band

  • nothing will compare to something wild and hatebreeder, those two were Bodom's masterpieces

  • @MrBattini

I totally agree, although that doesn't mean their other albums don't kick ass!

  • @MrBattini maybe you should take a listen to Follow The Reaper then

  • @shreddintheaxe oh dont get me wrong, i love the follow the reaper too. the first three albums are my favorite ones but at the end of the day, bodom could make a disco album and still be badass

  • @MrBattini true

  • This song looks like from their second album???? Who agreee and disagree?

  • It seems as if im the only one that likes all of their songs from all their albums. I realy dont get why everybody hates on them

  • @sk8dude88888888 It is not just you man, I liked the whole album too, it is really good in my opinion.

  • They went to Hell with Blooddrunk. Now they are back to the Bodom we love.

  • @cryan5280 nope

  • 10 people are still stuck in the Are You Dead Yet? era.

  • FUUUUUUUUUCK YEAAAAAAAH!

  • Hate Crew Deathroll, Are you Dead Yet, and Relentless, Reckless, Forever are the best three albums of all time from Children of Bodom.

  • @SkuyaHamilton You've obviously never heard Hatebreeder or Something Wild. This album is good, as are HCDR and FTR (I personally think AYDY & Blooddrunk are complete garbage) but IMO nothing will surpass those first two albums. This one is a step in the right direction though.

  • @UnholyCrusada Wtf is wrong with you? AYDY is a great album, stop being a fucking hipster and get your head out of your ass.

  • @SkuyaHamilton Being a hipster? Sorry, but out of all the songs on AYDY, I only really can stand Living Dead Beat and We're Not Gonna Fall. Everything else is just not up to par with some of their other material. Going back to Hatebreeder... that is pretty much the epitome of a perfect Melo-Death album. The awesome keyboard work (which AYDY barely has aside from the solos), the neoclassical influence, the awesome songwriting craft, it's all just so well done. AYDY just pales in comparison IMO.

  • @SkuyaHamilton No Follow the Reaper?

  • Ah, COB as it use to be. I haven't much liked the last couple albums, but this is as spectacular as anything off hatebreeder or any of their earlier albums. Alexi is still god

  • @Ovyera : They aren't back ;)

  • 10 are Roundtrip to Hell and Back

  • 74k viewer... there must be 3 additional 0

  • 10 people sucks

  • Children of Bodom is a Finnish heavy metal band from Espoo. Formed in 1993, the group currently consists of Alexi Laiho (vocals, lead guitar), Roope Latvala (rhythm guitar), Janne Wirman (keyboards), Henkka Seppälä (bass), and Jaska Raatikainen (drums). In total they have released seven studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, and one DVD. The band's third studio album, Follow the Reaper, was their first album to receive a Gold certification in Finland.

  • @WanaPlayDrums98 you just want to earn a thumb up...

  • @Razorkid666 yeah. So i decide to type this

  • You know, I'm more of the classic Bodom fan, but I actually quite like this song. From what i've heard of the new album, its not half bad. Definitely not another follow the reaper, but its better then blooddrunk. This is the best song on the new album for sure.

  • @xburnyoutoashesx are smoking?

  • @killromes No i'm not smoking. What's wrong with my post that makes me look like i'm smoking?

  • @xburnyoutoashesx you said that this is better than blooddrunk want a f-ing joke

  • @killromes Lol that's just my personal opinion. So go fuck yourself.

  • Niiiiiiccceeeeee;)

  • So fucking happy that i bought this album. and this is one of the best songs on the album. and it sounds so awesome when Alexi sings "back" in the sentence "roundtrip to hell and back"XD COB Forever!!!!!!!!!

  • I still remember when i bumped into COB accidentally... i was only starting to listen to metal.... guess what was my first music of this band? If You Want Peace, Prepare For War... it fucked my mind...and hey...guess what? COB never let me down a single time...i love every single one of their music...Guys...let me suggest an epic intro of cob...and the epic intro leads to an epic song...In The Shadows.... listen to it...it's not commercial...one of their first ^^ not like are u dead yet -.-
