  • :D:D nice method! in fl u could do this much easier as well

  • great producer

  • I dont understand the difference between this and normal glide mode. Couldnt he just have pressed a low and the a high note and define a very long glide time?

  • face palm.

  • Oh come on guys, A producer gives tips and u rip on him? Thats not very professional.. try be nice. =) Olav u rock man

  • Hmm I actually did the same thing, but I played an A note, then another real high A note, stretched that note out intil where I wanted it to end then placed another A note MUCH lower at the point I wanted it to bottom out and the distance on the grid was the same from the start to the middle and to the end. What I used though was portamento to make the note change slow or fast, and played around with it for about 3 or 4 mins and had the portamento to the right position to do it perfectly.

  • simplest set by far

  • @revengeofbutthead isnt it?And I was about to get rid of my korg kontrol 49 like his, thinking will not suit very well to Logic...Olav,thank you..I just need to start producing now:)

  • in the studio with skrillex please!

  • I want an A that goes into an A and then another A and then a lower A and I can't find the god damn bitch bend on this thing . baahhahah they really crack me up .. they do.

  • Oh man these guys crack me up. I'm like half their age own 1/10 of their equipment and yet my knowledge equals to theirs multiplied by 10. Thank you future music for showing how shitty these guys are in the studio.

  • @ElluzeoniX have you got anything out there on sale you cunt?..stop talking shit you faggot!!!

  • @ElluzeoniX this guy has been producing longer than you are alive, get over yourself. are you going to send us any of your awesome tracks? let's hear'em. I bet they're awful.

  • @tilda140

do you have any tracks, fucking impressionable noob.

  • finally after fifteen years =) haha this guy is interesting , love u so much olav, keep on to rock the beat. peaaace&love

  • oiski poisky...

  • lololololol live 8 has pitch env done so easily that its almost rediculous. i just watched shm in the studio and when axwell said that it took them a while to do a automatized pitch modulation (using envelopes) i laughed my ass off. while in live you just open up the sample, set an envelope with 4 clicks and voila, in logic its nuclear physics, as it took this fucker 15 years to figure it out. omg.

  • @qkyqky Hahahahahahaha but while he's making tracks that get played over and over in clubs all around the world, what are you doing? So sad.

  • olav is a legend

  • Nice trick, I'll try it, thanks.

  • @qkyqky

it´s scientifically demosntrated all people that use the word noob are gay...seriously

    asshole :)

  • @qkyqky Hrhr, fucking Dickhead Hater.. at least he earns more money then you ever will with your "knowledge" lmao

  • @qkyqky it doesn´t matter how he done this, he is still one of the best producers and the final result counts not if he draws midi notes or not. Stop beeing a fucking hater and produce your one shit if you are so good.

  • 'So let's go' - the lights flicker and the blinds close.. That was kinda weird! Wicked lampshade though.

  • pitch envelope in ableton shits all over this

  • @Chuggalugg Yeh he could have easily used a pitch envelope in EXS24 too, but it would have sounded slightly different. Here you can still hear the pitch note change ever so slightly whereas a pitch envelope would go through all of the pitch cents that aren't in a standard Western tuning system so it would seamlessly flow through the pitch...

  • @Chuggalugg They're both different ways of doing the same thing that sound slightly different tbh, this way fits with the sidechain in the track so it was probs the better choice even if he had have known the other way

  • Dude could use some sleep...lol

  • what keyboard does he use?

  • @MadexPL

It's Korg microKONTROL midi controller keyboard.

Check also akai pro , m-audio,novation.

  • Cant you get him to redo this segment now he does have the copywrites to the sample. ;)

  • cant u just automation clip the pitch? or i give you a tip, load the sample up in fruityloops, use the pitch automation clip of fruityloops, very very easy

  • good producer

  • are you kidding me, this was seriously one of the first things i learned when i started producing.

  • @pandasecksi a lot of good producers are actually really crappy engineers LoL
