  • Incredible, absolutely incredible.

  • Such a hard ass yet left his child in the house. You better believe nothing would stand in the way of me taking my kids out of a burning house.

  • @xXxshaddicxXx they are performing vertical ventilation.

  • @xXxshaddicxXx what are you talking about?

  • AssHole !!!

  • @RYANRYAN1234567 if they went through the bottom debris could collapse on them and kill them so they have to go through the roof

  • Would have been a great time to hold a class on that douche on how to use a halligan up against his head

  • always a good idea to fight with the people risking there lives to help you

  • HERO!

  • Damn, that's one lucky jackass of a guy, that jerkoff would have gotten leveled the second he put hands on anyone, period!

  • No one pushes me, especially if im saving his fucking house from burning down, i would have totally put him in his place

  • the father is a coward for leaving his son in a burning house. There is no excuse why the father could not have entered the upper floors to get the child.

  • why dont those guys already have their masks and air packs on when they show up

  • Room and contents fire gone horribly wrong. Glad they got the kid out that the jackass "father " abandoned. Other than that this is a classic vid in how NOT to fight a fire. It hurts to watch.

  • Tough guy in his pj pants and wife beater... Classic!

  • why do they go in through the roof

  • that fucking jew! how dare he lay hands on those fire fighters, i understand it might be a stressful time for him, if he were to push me in a situation like that, id put him 6 feet under

  • @fenderboy199 How the fuck do you know what faith he is? Furthermore, it doesn't matter one bit whether he's Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Atheist etc., dude's acting like a prick either way. That bigotry bullshit is for trailer trash that procreates with their siblings....don't be mad cuz your house got a flat tire

  • The firemen saved his kids life and he acts like an ungrateful ass what is up with that?

  • Great job!

  • when is the part when they get the child out? i missed it

  • @jaws553

At about :05 seconds in you can see a firefighter come out and hand the kid off real quick.

  • wife beater scumbag!!!!

  • Id pay a million to beat the shot out of that piece of shit, dirty, child molesting, scum, shit, fat wife fuckin, asshole.

  • Hey u ya fuckin toothless scumbag fatass, take the wife beater off cause ur fatass wife prob beats ur ass u fuckin loser.

  • That guy in the wife beater is white trash scum, id like to beat the shit out of that child abusing asshole!

  • I love how the guy is placing the ladder while he isn't wearing an ppe at all.

  • I see a lot of people posting that they took too long to gear up, and get the hose line out. As a volunteer i can tell you that the majority of departments are volunteer and when the tones drop you dont always make truck, so keep in mind they may have just got there and geard up on scene (also keep in mind that not all trucks have the quck release SCBA's in the seat) and as far as the line they may have been waiting for more manpower.

    Great job rescueing the kid.

    Cheers from P.C.V.F.D Indiana

  • some one was alittle pissy lmao

  • TOTALLY agree he should have been arrested! Yes it is very emotional, but stay the hell out of the way, don't walk around with your chest all puffed out and act all tough with people around him. Just makes him look like a stupid hick with small dick that has to prove something. I hate people like that.

  • What was that at 1:19?

  • hey moron when u get out of your engine have you PPE and SCBA ONNNNNNNNNNN before u hope out that thing man you didnt even have it buckled before you started walking to to the house the line was laid and no one was manning it WOW that is was a great house rescue (sarcasm) but its great you saved the kid non the less

  • @fennygolf That is call the captain and they don't wear ppe and scba and that is call a great house rescue cause they are doing there part of there job. :D *nod my head* >3> XD

  • @Ese1997 on paid departments the chief and asst. chief dont wear scba's. at all fires every firefighter shows up has to wear ppe. As far as a volunteer department goes I have seen my asst. chief get all his gear on with a scba and I have seen my capt's get a scba on and go into a fire.

  • @cripticgatekeep Never hear that before. :p who those guys with the blue clothing on? what they call?

  • @Ese1997 in all departments white hats are the chiefs and asst. chiefs. In my department red hats are the capts. yellow hats are the regular firefighters and blue hats are high school age cadets. but on paid departments I believe the blue hats are EMT/Paramedic trained firefighters.

  • @cripticgatekeep so they are like the ambulance?

  • @Ese1997 firefighters are usually the first ones on scene to a car accident so they need to have some that are trained. Where I live at our volunteer firefighters also run our ambulance which is under the lease with the local hospital.

  • @cripticgatekeep i see...I think that anuff info.Thanks for telling me and goodbye :3

  • Great Rescue.

Why the long delay in getting water onto the fire?

  • what's up with that asshole, little shit wannabe tough guy.. fukn relax they didn't set your house on fire.. jerkoff

  • Perfect example of why I will never own a home with vinyl siding.

  • where did they put the kid anyways?

  • wow what a way to thank the rescuers of your child. i know hes having a bad day but what a prick. i love how he walks around like the meat heads that work out at my gym. douchebag!

  • That father needed a pike pole up his ass

  • To bad a few of those fire fighters didn't take that asshole to the ground!

  • Seemed to be a delay in getting water on the fire.

I noticed at the start of the vid there's at least ONE line layed to the rear of the structure.

For the first 1:15 of the vid, no water on the fire.

Must have been a lot of OBSTRUCTIONS they had to crawl over to get to the fire.

  • Worthless no good parents wtf is wrong with ppl

  • A haligan would calm him down quick.

  • questionable parents...

  • at 1:50 the IC was putting the ladder in the window for interior crews which is good downside the IC should've had on his turnout gear

  • from one firefighter to another, basement fires are the worst! an absolute death trap

  • @superbuff861 We don't have many basements here in Texas, but we do have some. In 25 years I have fought one basement fire, and that was enough for me! Keep safe.

  • 2:15 here comes billy badass.

  • I WILL LEAVE IT BURN ...... JUST BECAUSE HE WAS HARRISING A FIREFIGHTER

  • White trash meth dad. Hope he got locked up for a long time and I pray the kid isn't staying with the retarded parents anymore. Talk about coward. Save yourself and leave the kids behind like a true hero, huh...? Then pick a fight with everyone around you.

  • Comment removed

  • @firebasser: "hustle" can get firefighters killed. There was a team inside already, evidenced by the venting from the window.

  • Comment removed

  • @firebasser everyone of those firefighters out there has more training in one bone then you do in your whole body. They need to hook it to the hydrant first and if there wasn't one around then they had to call in a tanker, so SHUT UP and why don't you try to serve the community!

  • Comment removed

  • Get the parents back away from the freakin house!!!!

  • That is the worst procedure for venting a roof the structure is compromised and they are very lucky

  • perhaps water straight onto that fire in the early stage could of saved that house ? oh yea waters not cool enough . take an axe instead thatl sort it

  • So im pretty sure they had everything on except their airpacks. So engines actually have seat wit air packs then others you have to locate in a compartment on the engine. But theirhose time shoulda beem a lil quicker being a fireman i know it could take a while to get ur hoses down and everything but great job on searchin an gettin the kid and as for the prick id stick a ax in his foot then throw him in the house amd say go put the fire out . Great job guys

  • I Guess These Guys Never Train Cause Their Slow As Shit You Bunker Up Prior Or Enroute To A Dam Structure Fire Not At The Scene Total Fail I Dont Blame The Guy For Being Mad BUt Dont Mess With A Firemen

  • @MrBoost300 your suppose to be able to quick dress in under 2 mins, btw way dressing en route makes you a jackass if your involved in a wreck cause your unbuckled. and has we all know if your killed and didn't have seat belt on then whoever you've left behind gets nothing. these are the changes ive seen in 21 yrs.

  • They should put him in jail for the rest of his life.!

  • This is a great training video! There is a lot that happens here:

For one look at the time between when you arrive on scene to the time you are ready to open the line how fast your situation progresses!

You also have dealing with nut jobs in pajamas who want to be charged with Misconduct at an Emergency Scene! Hope this video helped in court! haha

  • What a fuckin prick - trying to fight the guys who risk their lives to save your kid, AND your house?! WTF ?!

  • That dude punked out the whoever was filming this shit,,made them his bitch.

  • wonder why the homeowner was all up in the firefighters face at the risk of not losing my job if i was that firefighter i would have tossed the guy back in the house for afewmins let him suck in some of that smoke then see how happy he would be to see a firefighter there to drag his lame ass out and where in the heck were the police when this was happening

  • Jalar las manguera, ponerse el casco, instalar la escalerala, etc etc la media casa ya esta quemada.....y los crudos dicen exelente trabajo

  • Wonders why the parents left the child in the house when the fire started!

  • Excellent Job Guys, don't pay any attention to people who criticize. Hand them an application and they can see how hard the work is and not many people saying thank you. Gentlemen THANK YOU for your service!!

  • Rule of 9 Size up Call for help RESCUE Exposures Confinement Ventilation Extinguishment Salvage Overhaul
  • Is this Elgin Illinois?

  • In the first few seconds you can see the officer talking into his radio, most likely telling the incoming units what they have. Tailboard then comes out with the kid and hands it off to someone. Immediately after that the guy in the black coat points in the house probably suggesting there is still someone in there, and the officer and tailboard run back in to look for them. The hose is then advanced in and a aggressive interior attack is made.

You are a MUTT if you have anything bad to say.

  • oh shit my bad i didnt see the tod in the begining my apologies.

  • People

How fast can things happen. Talk about putting fire out first. By the clock on the video you see water shooting from the interior at 1:22 minutes from film start.

I say way to go guys. They saved a life and started fire suppression with in a minute and a half from the time the first line was on ground. Good job.

  • Like a boss. He got the kid, ran out, passed her off, then went back in. Good thing that scumbag of a father got arrested for impeding fire extinguishment.

Astounding how the parents left their kid in a high chair in the house and didn't bother to grab her on their way out.

  • damage and daring rescues is not needed if they extinguish the fire immediately, how lousy

  • pretty slow and lousy! the fire fighters are just walking around and seems don't take to much attention of the increasing fire!

  • @chanapan49 Not only did these firefighters make a rescue but also it appears they contained the fire to one part of the structure with an interior attack (notice the water shooting out from the inside). If you don't know what your talking about you sure as hell shouldn't criticize.

  • @jrediger1 I credit the FD with the good rescue but the fire was not "contained" to one part of the structure.

It AUTO EXPOSED from the basement up the face of the front of the house and eventually made it up to the roof and made the that portion of the home structurally questionable.

Notice the lines layed in front to combat the auto exposure AFTER the fire had a headstart?

They were playing catchup and should have anticipated the possible auto exposure problem.

  • why the hell did they extinguish the fire first thats the last thing to do if a life is in danger. The SOP (standard operating procedures) clearly states that LIFE SAFETY always come first then its incident stabilization the property conservation need to send your firefighters back to their 1152 course. or atleast your Incident comander.

  • @firemanst6 at 0:06 a firefighter comes out with the toddler. And it appears that the first line has yet to be charged. Looks like they made a real quick grab. Good job as far as i'm concerned.

  • I heard the F.A going off and had to pause the vid to see if it was one of mine going off lol

    Good fight guys!

  • get your head gear strait. First priority is human life and the first engine in was on immediate search and rescue. Next time just because you want a quick knock down we will leave the victims die so you can watch a fast knock down.

  • im scared

  • whats that guys issue? can we help you? yes you can back the hell off me pal. get a life

  • Why the hell did it took for ever for those firefighters to put that fire off, they took their sweet time

  • 2:16 What a asswhole

  • I think they could have had that fire out a long time ago

  • @koopa4232 me too. There was a fire across the street from me the other night. It was on the second floor in one room, (Most houses on our street were built in 1910-1930) and 5 fire trucks rolled up, knocked the windows out, and let the hose rip. They didnt waste anytime and got the fire out before it got anywhere near big enough to flash over in the room or spread to any of the other rooms. Kinda gives me peace of mind that if my place catches fire, our dept will be quick in knockin it out.

  • thats some bad parenting leaving your toddler in the house while its on fire. I'm glad he got arrested for that.

  • Firefighters did an outstand job. 1) Rescue first, 2) Fight fire from the inside out. I may have req PD for ---hole control, or at "accidently" turned a waterstream on him. I once had a fire w/ front end of house fully involved, rescue operation going on, and an interior attack from the rear of the house. Some ---hole physically attacks my engineer because we weren't fighting it right. I went after AH with a hydrant wrench but PD put him in custody. We lost 6 kids. These guys are great.

  • fighting a firefighter....bad idea because you're going to have so many other firefighters jump your shit.

  • Last choice is to put water in a window. You end up pushing it all back in to the structure and possibly making it worse. U want to push it out that's why you saw a stream come out first.

  • Only issue I see (Other than the arsonist a-hole) is getting off the rig of a known?? working structure fire. Just my .02

  • Why not try to put some water on the fire?

  • the reason why water is not used as soon as we arrive on scene is because our first priority is life. we have too perform a primary search of the house. if they had put the fire out prior too searching the house that child would have been cooked alive. steam from that fire would have filled the entire house. Im a volunteer firefighter for pasadena,tx fire dept. ...this miss understanding that paid do more than volunteers is wrong.

  • oh my FREAKIN GOD THAT THING SCARY!

  • that father needs to be shot. he not only left his kid setting in a high chair but then he started a fight with the firefighters? seriously?

  • please explain to me why it took so long for them to start sprayingwater on it!!!! why were they moving so slow? the house was completely engulfed before anyone did a damn thing

  • @sweetbabynrs1 Before they did anything? Did you not see the firefighter rescue the kid 6 seconds into the video? Fire is not the priority when life is in danger. Also, from the other comments there was someone stopping the firefighters from doing their jobs.

  • I'm paid and I was volunteer for 8 years and guess what when your dealing with the devil he dosent discriminate also if you are voluanteer then my hat is off to you because becoming a full time paid firefighter is the hardest blue collar job in the world to obtain if you got one then be thankful because the next guy is willing to put his ass on the line for no $ at all it is a passion and a calling that is why people do it for no $ you paid guys Be thankful that they are there to help appreciat

  • firefighters *

  • I have a few words to say....God bless all the firedighters, and much thanks and, love and safty sent all ur ways

  • @unclefloyd77 Hey Floyd, let me tell you something. I was a volunteer Lieutenant in South Carolina, and a Captain and paid firefighter in Elmira Heights NY. You know what the difference was between the two? I got a check in NY. There was no difference between the men, the job, the brotherhood or the comraderie. You sir, are 100% full of shit. Thanks for playing the game, we have some lovely parting gifts... dolt.

  • @unclefloyd77 I call bullshit on everything you are saying about being a firefighter. No real firefighter bashes someone for being a volunteer in the middle of no where. I happen to be a proud volunteer in a department that is in the middle of no where. A firefighter is a firefighter no matter where you go. We all wear the same uniform and do the same job.

  • @unclefloyd77 "A program designed to encourage kids to make good choices and have positive career goals." such as better serving your local community by joining the fire department

  • @unclefloyd77 when the come up for a cure for dyslexia i sure will

  • @unclefloyd77 ignoramus is a word look it up and interior firefighting is intense it is what has gotten me into fire fighting but you have seen the footage of some of those wildfires out west yes? try standing next to one of those and then we'll talk. and again fyi i live in new york, when you become a park service wild land fire fighter you get commisiond and deployed when they need you i was even pulled off a dig to go out to the arizona fires last year

  • @unclefloyd77 and all i could find on joe errico was a video that said he was on the providence fire department union, i assume he fought to disband volly companies? and if you are an officer in the providence fire dep. and therefore represent that companys values and personell i can only assume that the majority of people in the providence rhode island fire department are a bunch of ignoramuses.

  • @unclefloyd77 fyi i became a professional wildland firefighter with the park service after my experience in my local company (still a member) what exactly is your problem with volly's anyway? and don't give me some crap about them takeing your job and ect. i assume that you like many just like a good argument/debate.

  • @unclefloyd77 im a wanna be go fuck your sell I've been threw more fires then you'll ever be fucking asshole fuck

  • @unclefloyd77 go fuck your self with rebar

  • i bet unclefloyd77 is pissed becaues he was kicked out of his dep. for arson or some shit like that

  • What a horrible thread to an amazing video.

    Vol/Paid.....who cares?

A bad situation was encountered and taken care of successfully.

Can't we all just get along?

We ALL commit....at different levels...to try and help people.

Don't get pissed at each other......get pissed at the people that ENCOURAGE us to be pissed at each other.

  • Man.....what a bunch of bull. I was a volunteer and later went through one of the most difficult academies in the nation to become career, which I am now. I I'll say this, 80% of the nations firefighters are volunteer. If they were to all up and quit we would be in a world of shit. To bash them is complete ignorance and pride. If you want to get pissed, get pissed at the municipalities that refuse to hire enough firefighters to properly protect our society.

  • If I were there, I'd ask someone to give me a marshmello :D !

  • This is probably why I don't want a fireplace..

  • What is with all this dick measuring between paid and volunteer? I started volunteer, now im paid, and still volunteer for another dept on the side. At my paid dept we also have volunteers, who get all the same exact training as the paid, and do the job just as well. Only difference is that i get paid and they dont.

  • thumbs up if you think that unclefloyd77 needs to take anger managment classes and needs to stop trolling this video.

  • thats what happend to our house i was scared but now its fixed

  • what I dont get is why the HELL would this guy want to pick a fight with the very people who (a) just saved his son's LIFE!! and (b) are working their asses off to put out a fire that's about to destroy this dude's house?! is this dumb bastard drunk, or just plain stupid?!

  • Both paid and volley firefighters sound like assholes when your playing the "I've got a bigger dick" game. Get over yourselves. We both have much bigger and better things to deal with. I'm paid where I work, and volley where I live.

  • @unclefloyd77 70% are vollunteers. If they leave their won't be many firefighters to save you. I don't know about you but I'd rather have someone willing to save me then someone just doing it for the money

  • I just watched "Code Red" and that was a great video. Thanks unclefloyd77.

  • We are all there to do the same thing. To protect and serve people when they need it most. It should'nt matter if were career or volunteer. Its a special bond no matter what way or how you do it. Its a Brotherhood.

  • it sickens me to hear all of this bashing of career and volunteer firefighters.I am a volunteer and have extensive training. Maybe not as much as a career ff but still enough to get the job done. Im sorry but if you do it every day for a job you would probably be more efficient and things would probably look smooth. Its funny to me that 70% of the nations firefighters are volunteer but we are the untrained wannabees. we do it because of the passion and drive. you do it for the money..

  • Wow unclefloyd77, SCABS..... Do you honestly think being PAID makes you a better firefighter.... Maybe include better training... Well I call that bullshit because where im at, the volunteers are better at what they do compared to PAID ff's. And the training is much more extensive.. Now, I will not argue that there was alot of WTF are you doing in this video...This sure looks like a career dept......

  • Really, some People should not be allowed to breed, the jackass in the pj's should have been knocked the fuck out!!!!!

  • Fucking asshole homeowner.. Too bad you can't just pack up and leave when that shit happens... their attitude would change REAL fast

  • @unclefloyd77 It sounds like you just like you spend too much time watching videos and criticizing others. Maybe you should spend more of your time on the back of a firetruck helping your local community.

  • @unclefloyd77 Hay calm down, Paid or volunteers everyone does the bit. In Australia we are trained Rescue before extinguish if safe. Human life is more important than a house that can be rebuilt.

  • @Cliff22Dive amen. stay safe brother

  • Why soes it take so long to get water on that fire? Should have stuck a jet in the window to prevent it spreading externally.

  • LOL dude i woulda hit him with a clipboard as i was writing the incident report, woulda been justified self defense in court. Agressor posed a threat to my safety. i reacted as i felt was necessary. lmao douchebag.

  • I don't understand, if he was charged with arson, was he trying to purposely burn down the house with the baby inside?

  • Should of hit tit from the outside until the interior crew could get in!

  • Amateur firemen, not very professional, but very engaged and with guts, we need such men.

  • Cant believe they didnt hit it from the outside with water while the interior guys were making their way in....I guess they wanted to let it get cooking so they could really have some fun

  • probably shouldnt of been on the roof, look at the fire right below them.

  • An Elgin man accused of setting fire to a home where his child was located has been found guilty of aggravated DUI and a weapons charge.

Kane County Judge Timothy Sheldon found James R. Beavers Jr., 32, guilty of DUI, unlawful use or possession of a weapon and violation of an order of protection.

This guy just doesn't know when to quit....

  • the guy in the white tank top needs to join a fire dept to see what us firefighter go though, there is no reason to act like he did, understandable hes pissed about his house burning up,probably his fault anyway, these people where there to help and he was just hampering the effort

  • venting a roof with an ax? man that sucks

  • @getsomelead shit most times u start out with a saw starts up in the begging of the day then when u need it it done but u got to get the job done some how

  • @FFGraham09 definatly, I just hope there wasn't a second roof under there.

  • 1:45 that is not how you put up a ladder INSTRUCTOR FRANK DOES NOT APPROVE

  • The guy in the white tank top is a fucking dumbass. Walking around with his chest all puffed out and arms all wide acting like a big hardass. The fire fighter that he layed a hand on handeled it very professionally and stayed calm the whole time. I'm glad he got arrested for being a asshole. LOSER!

  • That guy who was outraged was in my opinion drunk .

I could be wrong ,. but, I think He caused the fire.

My guess is since the child was in the high chair The father was trying to cook himself some lunch fell asleep

and then the food caught fire.

    That poor child.

I never saw him being rescued in the tape.

I hope He or She didn't get burned.

  • ya "where the fuck are the police" lol

  • I apologize to the experienced FFs if my question is rather ignorant of the subject matter, but from my inexperienced observation it seems like they could've put water on that fire LONG before it ate up the entire side of the house. Is there any reason why they didn't?

  • @GUMMYBEAYUH They wanted to fight the fire from the inside at the expense of letting it grow. They feared they would push the fire back into the house, but a little water would have cooled it down. Poor hose pulls. You never drop a pile of hose because you get a mess later. You do a split pull and spread the hose in both directions. The guy holding the ladder should of stayed back at he station and cooked.

  • @GUMMYBEAYUH Don't know as none of us were there. We have a 100' "trash" line that's preconnected on the front bumper that would've been perfect to knock down the exterior fire before it got into the attic. If the father had pulled that shit here, the cops would have been the least of his worries. He would've been on the ground with about a 1,000 pounds of firefighters on top of him.

  • fail.... i coulda put that fire out with an extinguisher before it got big, meanwhile these guys spend 20mins putting their shit on and connecting hoses and the house gets ravaged...

  • that dude was a jackass

  • i have only been a firefighter since august but its long enough for me 2 point out 2 mistakes on this fire call. mistake # 1 is the first engine on scene should have had a line in the building and after tied into a hydrant. even though the truck runs out of water in 2 min. thats plenty of time to hook up to a hydrant. mistake # 2 is all civilians should have been kept out of the vicinity to minimize chances of injuries to them and firefighters cuase as you can see, that guy was a distraction

  • do that within 5min with a child inside and ill shake your hand then

  • why ppl don't there houses to be filmed ???

  • Yea, this Man is sickening.....just glad the baby was ok!!!!!! Oh and what is up with him bucking up his shoulders??? Yea big tough man

  • Yea, this Man is sickening.....just glad the baby was ok!!!!!!

  • WTF, this guy guy needs to chill the hell out, GEEZE! I'm glad he got arrested cuz he started yelling at the Firefighters! Stupid dumb ass-:-(
