@YukixHeart you can have your thumb like that, but it doesn't necessarily help you play better, for some it might actually pose a hindrance...now, perhaps he's using his thumb on the G string, then it would make sense...

Well this is actually an string cortet a string orchestra has alot more people playing each insturnment and there is a bass plaier but a cortet has 2 violin's 1 viola, and 1 cello
