He's likely using a BMC-MAC motor with the built in controller on a geared uspd drive with a clutch bearing and a freewheel meaning he can motor or pedal or pedal and motor together. It's a common setup.
@JaleelJohanson62 Hi, you're all wrong, no build-in controller, no geared uspd drive, no clutch but lots of freewheels. It's a unique set-up with three chains, two for the drive and one for pedals. A little noisy and I now prefer my dual motor e-bikes if you care to look at my other videos. Thanks for commenting!

Hi there, very impressed with the flat acceleration and the climb speed. What are your specs? I personally am running a 700w off a 36v 20AH Lifepo4, quite adequate, but not very powerful at all.
