Haha I was just showed today how to get there today. You can fly below the world doing using the mammoth wall glitch in the outside zone of zul'gurub. When flying below the world you are most likely going to fly north and accidently find yourself in the crypt like I did. To do the glitch, head to the temple of where panther boss is, go behind the building to wedge yourself in a corner, mount a mammoth, jump, run through the hole in the ground, and find yourself flying below the ground in wow
I asked a GM, and he replied with 'you'll just have to wait and see, but we hope you enjoy your adventure, in figuring out what this will be for' So there's hope ;)

@Makaveli13Xroy Well.. you're supposed to keep mounting up while jumping forward to get through the wall. After that you can jump through the barrier. You need slowfall though.

It's a very neat space down there. It's too bad that they never opened it up. If you stand right on the edge of the well to the left just past the entrance, a different shading scheme is applied to your character (as if you were falling down the hole) and your player turns completely black. Nudge yourself backwards one quick keytap, and he's back to his same color again. :)

The Gnomish Mind Control Cap can mind control a player, and they will be controlled as a pet. Since they are considered a pet, you can use the send pet command to send them under the terrain, as the warlock did with his pet. It's diffucult because it only lasts 9 seconds, and there is a very small gap where you can send them to. Chance of failure for lvl60+ players
@Firefly2183 Have to really be immersed in the WoW world to get creeped out by this place... if you have a small monitor or your ambience turned down or anything of the sort it just doesn't work. The whole experience is needed, can't just jog through it like a WotLK instance. Oohhhh zing.
@morbidingeneral He's a shaman he can astral recall out of there. For the rest of the people you either get a mage to blink into the crypt from the same spot and make them open a portal, or you get a warlock to summon you OR you get your HS in cooldown (works as the same with deleting it) and do an auto-unstuck there and then HS out once its cooldown is over.

Isnt this where you had to go to get the super crazy legendary sword that wasnt supposed to be in the game. gave you like 400 ap on hit and slowly killed you.
Extra advice; you need to be closer than where he is on the video if you're using Blink. There's a little 'hole in the floor' right where the crypt meets the ground. You want to be at the end of that hole.
@4funwow I can tell that Mages and Priests is the easiest classes to get past bugs or to levitate to certain places like Underworld beneath Deadmines.
I can also suggest Engineering for Nitro Boots in come cases to reach difficult spots.
The Karazhan Crypts was in Pre TBC a sort of event during a very long, annoying and EXPENSIVE shitpacking questline tho it was sealed away and the quests was removed when Naxxramas (the original) was avalible to players.
There is how ever a trick if you still got the quest you WILL get an item that allows you to open the gates on YOUR command when you get near it. (truth)
Either the fact I'm Draenei is stopping this from working, or it's no longer working, tried various positions very near to the video and the same position with no luck.

Works on August 3 2010. When i got inside i asked some guildies to join me,the result was the most epic game of Hide N' Seek EVER. Be sure to do this sometime before the place gets deleted...
Turn up the ambient sound and mute everything else, you can hear heartbeating, which sometimes seems to get louder as you close up to (most likely) Medivh's and Aegwynn's grave, that really freak's me off, as the heartbeat itself is VERY creepy out there
I finally came in, but not like this, you can go to other side of the crypt, and mount up, jump through the wall, as done in EoS. Then run to the other side, and back, slow fall, and in. I have a warlock so the portal spared me a lot of time, and i had some brew back from fire festival, which gives you slowfall :)
This was dubbed as 'unfinished' since they were going to make it into a dungeon that was paired with Kara, but the content, upon presentation to the ESRB (and even some emplyees at Blizzard) was declared as requiring the rating to change to M due to some of the graphic features the dungeon was to include. It may or may not be in Cata, we'll just have to wait and see.

I was here just last night, they didn't remove it. It was creeeeepy. Especially when you hear moaning in the backround, or when you hear a "whish!" behind you. Gotta wonder why Blizzard put this in?
I just got in once again on another toon on Gnomeregan, one of the realms that was down for 24 hours. THIS STILL WORKS! The placement is incredibly picky for where you need to unstuck, but once you find it the first time you'll know where it is every time afterwards!
I got in after a few tries, luckily I ran into a troll on my way to the crypt and we ran through together...
It's one thing to watch a video, it's another to actually be there yourself to experience it all. Zoom into first person view, take it all in, it was creepy with someone else there to talk to, it's total brix shitting if you go alone.
I just tried this about 40 minutes ago with the method used here. You have to note where he's standing. From where the stone meets the dirt, count back 3 sets of stones, and stand on the lines of second and third sets of stone.

I am watching this video because of a thing blizzard released about WoW secrets. The crypt was removed because it was very scary, and needs to stay at a rating for 12 year old. It was suppose to have odd mobs and be almost jump out of your seat with music and certain sound effects. I am now trying to find out what some of the Kara Crypt mobs looked like.
I looked away for a second, fell through the landscape and couldn't see where I was. I panned the camera up to see that I was halfway between the ground and the Crypts!
My mage friend told me what direction to go and I walked very carefully-
And got spit out on the stairs above ground. I have a sneaking suspicion I am never trying this again.
working 25/6/2010 - and the crypt is awesome, unique in many ways, although without any mobs or interactive surroundings(just a few doors to separate tombs).. just like any other normally unaccessible areas..:)
works on 3.3.5 PTR, tried it on Horde Shaman, but you have to be precise in your positioning for auto-unstuck, and you have to aim right when you're falling, or else you die (I died on my first attempt), with your corpse just infront of Morgan's Plot. Make sure you have Astral Recall or have a mage to tele you out after!!!
I found another way with my mammoth and jumped up, but I can't go down the same way as you did, so I tried something different.. I fell through the ground and missed the crypts by inches. And at this very moment, my char is still falling. Heading north
for the auto unstuck to work more you should be against the wall and aim your char at the corner that you can see under. You can also do this glitch with a mammoth but its kind of a bitch.
Tested in 3.3.5 still works Pro tip: if you're a Druid go cat so you are shorter and you can get under easier the camera is a big part of these types of exploits

@PurpleTexting Rumors has it that this was supposed to be an instance but since blizzard changed the rating on WoW to T for teens they could not use hanging corpses or anything else creepy in the game as a major, there are still subliminal ones if you look for them, like the goldshire kids.

Went here last night with a friend, but instead of using the autounstuck, we used a different method. Standing in the same spot as in the video, friend and I (lock/priest) put down a duel flag and used fear to get in. When you get feared and see the terrain change for a split second, pop pvp trinket to land you at the spot at 0:34. From that spot, my lock friend could set his circle and pop back up to the ground, fear me, and voila!
Still totally works as of a few nights ago, but you really gotta fudge it to get it to work now. It took me a lot longer than I was expecting to get in there. Be patient, you'll find the spot eventually.
Haha, finally found the right spot to do it with my mage, then moved forward and fell into oblivion. Make sure you're facing the right way when you drop, people!
Lol I remember when I accidentally entered this crypt. It was back then on my first character. Man I almost shitted myself when I explored this.

As of 4.0.1 they took away Character Stuck.. You can only use Hstone or Commit Suicide by Teleporting to graveyard

For the rest of the people you either get a mage to blink into the crypt from the same spot and make them open a portal, or you get a warlock to summon you OR you get your HS in cooldown (works as the same with deleting it) and do an auto-unstuck there and then HS out once its cooldown is over.

Auto unstuck just puts me right in front of the pillar. Thats it. Not into it.

I am watching this video because of a thing blizzard released about WoW secrets. The crypt was removed because it was very scary, and needs to stay at a rating for 12 year old. It was suppose to have odd mobs and be almost jump out of your seat with music and certain sound effects. I am now trying to find out what some of the Kara Crypt mobs looked like.

I tried for 3 hours.
I looked away for a second, fell through the landscape and couldn't see where I was. I panned the camera up to see that I was halfway between the ground and the Crypts!
My mage friend told me what direction to go and I walked very carefully-
And got spit out on the stairs above ground. I have a sneaking suspicion I am never trying this again.

you dont have to delete your hearthstone, just make sure its on cooldown

working 25/6/2010 - and the crypt is awesome, unique in many ways, although without any mobs or interactive surroundings(just a few doors to separate tombs).. just like any other normally unaccessible areas..:)

works on 3.3.5 PTR, tried it on Horde Shaman, but you have to be precise in your positioning for auto-unstuck, and you have to aim right when you're falling, or else you die (I died on my first attempt), with your corpse just infront of Morgan's Plot. Make sure you have Astral Recall or have a mage to tele you out after!!!

I found another way with my mammoth and jumped up, but I can't go down the same way as you did, so I tried something different.. I fell through the ground and missed the crypts by inches. And at this very moment, my char is still falling. Heading north

for the auto unstuck to work more you should be against the wall and aim your char at the corner that you can see under. You can also do this glitch with a mammoth but its kind of a bitch.

Tested in 3.3.5 still works Pro tip: if you're a Druid go cat so you are shorter and you can get under easier the camera is a big part of these types of exploits

@PurpleTexting Rumors has it that this was supposed to be an instance but since blizzard changed the rating on WoW to T for teens they could not use hanging corpses or anything else creepy in the game as a major, there are still subliminal ones if you look for them, like the goldshire kids.
In a way and sad it is that they went from creating a awesome game to making more money by allowing everyone to play, like everyone wasn't before!

Went here last night with a friend, but instead of using the autounstuck, we used a different method. Standing in the same spot as in the video, friend and I (lock/priest) put down a duel flag and used fear to get in. When you get feared and see the terrain change for a split second, pop pvp trinket to land you at the spot at 0:34. From that spot, my lock friend could set his circle and pop back up to the ground, fear me, and voila!

Still totally works as of a few nights ago, but you really gotta fudge it to get it to work now. It took me a lot longer than I was expecting to get in there. Be patient, you'll find the spot eventually.
