@PadLad08 when i was learning from marty back when i didnt have a capo(i still learn from him of course) i used a pencil and a couple of rubber bands. what i did was i put the pencil on the strings, put the rubber band through 1 end of the pencil, stretched it towards the bottom through the other end of the pencil.....and you got yourself a home made capo!

Y would u call that the second fret? it's the fourth fret and that doesn't change cause there is a kapo on there. Just seems like that would make it confusing.

What I would be interested in knowing or seeing u do a vid about is: Notes of the fret board. How to learn it so intuitively that it doesn't require thought. U shouldn't even see frets just notes.

it's easier if u move the capo to 4th fret.Here are the chords if u play that way........

Hey Marty, i was wondering if it makes a big difference if i have my middle and index finger swithed around when i play a D Major chord. So basically my index is on the first string and middle is on third string of second fret.
