i took 30mg for the first time last night. i was very disappointed to say the least. it really didnt do much of anything. which surprised me considering it's hailed as "The Mother of all Benzo's!" if anything, klonopin worked better for me for sleep, but i discontinued it because its addicting as hell and causes EXTREME depression/blackouts. im gonna give temazepam another try tonight but if i still don't get my precious sleep im calling my dr. about a med change.

I've taken restoril 7.5mg before and it was like a bad joke. Yesterday my new doc gave me 30mg rx and it worked like a miracle.

i take lyrica,venlafaxine and temazepam...i fucking hate take this shit but i guess its vital for my recovary from major depression and anxiety. hey guys n girls anyone no of a good forum to share experiences n ideas and just generall chit chat about depression, bi polar, anxiety blah blah blah .....would be appreciated cos i need advice and guidence. my life hit rock fuckin bottom but im on the way to the top again . pleace n love xxx

@LOVEMPIRE666 I agree most xanax tastes bitter and dissolves slowly, however the generic alprozolam (xanax) from purepac dissolve very fast under the tounge just a few seconds.

I dont think it can really be taken sublingualy. It doesnt disolve fast enough and the tablets are full of chalk to stop people injecting them. Usually as a rule if it has to much chalk to inject it has too much chalk for sublingual.

You cant really take it sublingualy becuase it takes to long to disolve, you would just end up sucking it like a sweet.

ive had open heart surgery about 6 times,and ive had Morphine,midazolam,valium,codi­ene concentrate,tramadol (300mg),temazpam,xanax,oxycont­in,and several other Opiods,and Hypnotics,but by far Midazolam was the best experince,i was full on hallousanating (audio & visauls) haha,good fun well it lasted.

god im a druggie i was getting the 30 mg tabs and taking 3 at a time....so thats 90 mgs a night. im sticking to xanax right now...have to have something to help me sleep. i dont find these meds quite that addictive...now opoids are anthoer story altogether.

wow, I usually type at 85 gwam but right now im like at 20, Its making it hard to focus... and I would not suggest using it while on the computer, if you are sitting you should have a chair with the arm things or else you will easily fall out, what I just said was for recreational use, but if you use it for medical reasons I suggest go to bed or else you start thinking how if you dont see something, like talking to someone on the phone the guy on the phone isnt there, I miss the 90's... :(

anyone on this, it is highly addictive and has nasty withdrawel, it can take weeks to taper of it, the side effects i experienced were, heart palpatations, severe confusion, and if u suffer from deppresion, like me that become intolarable, it will help 2 sleep, and kill anxiety, but it has real physical withdrawel. be carefull i know

Restoril i have been on over 2 years, it has caused the most best nights of sleep. It does cause sudden anger, and confusion if you have bipoler disorder. Rage, and other. But it does help very much with sleep.
