John Paul Jones is amazing in the live performances of Kashmir. He plays the bass guitar from the studio version on bass pedals. The regular keyboards part from the studio version he plays on the top part of the synthesizer and the violins on the bottom of the synthesizer! He is playing THREE instruments at once in a way!

I'm surprised it took Atlantic this long to post this clip. This video is from Zeppelin's August 11th, 1979 Knebworth performance. There are many other songs/vid's from that day... just search it. Another excellent choice would be "Ten Years Gone" from the same concert. The beginning of what was to be Zep's triumphant return, including a tour of the U.S., but then came Bonzo's death and the end of Zep as we know it. At least we still have these. :) Get the DVD 2-pack that has a so much, chills!!

Where has this video been I have 4 other version but this is by far the best. Kashmir is an epiphany for the greatest band of all times. A collective whole producing a driving rythm and melody that will haunt us all forever. Plant's vocal are beyond description. He takes you to Kashmir. The lyrics are poetic and mystical. This is the best performance I've ever seen. I keep playing over and over again Thank you Atlantic videos!
