ive got this guitar two and when i put on a marshall bluesbreaker pedal it really can get a heavy distortion.

I've got (almost) the same guitar! Mine also has the zebra humbuckers, the green-ish inlays, no writing on the truss cover, and the custom shop stamp on the back.

But, I guess they aren't exactly the same: mine is red (not sunburst) with a cream colored pickguard. When I contacted gibson and gave them my serial number, they said mine was a 1995 model with a mahogany top (instead of the normal maple top), which gives it a much deeper tone than the normal les paul classics or standards.

Is Better The Standard faded or the Classic? Because they have the same price

It depends in what you want. The classic is way softer, but it can reeach some hard sounds, and the standard can give an hard and a soft sound. Personaly I like better the Standard faded. :)

It doesn't look like a Classic. At the very least it's been modded. LPC's have a truss cover that says "Classic" in gold italic. Classics also have a creme pickguard that says "1960", again, in gold italic. Finally, the LPC has 496R and 500T pickups, which are black stock.

It's strange - you claim to have a Les Paul Classic there, but it really looks like a modded Standard to me, especially with the "white" neck inlays - the Classics have "green-ish" inlays.

Hi, yes it's a classic Custom confirmed by Gibson. It says Custom Shop on the back of the headstock. According to Gibson this guitar was manufactured during one year only. From 2000 to 01. The list price was around $4560. Its a very rare guitar with a unique top, from the Custom Shop.

Great guitar.. I will probably can never afford one.. I got an old, stupid, painfully, impossible, imperfect guitar. Very painfully, sounds like shit. My left hand's fingers are always hurt. The strings are the chepest in the world (4 euro).. The neck is almost broken. It makes me laugh and swear... I hate it, and all the same, I am trying to play solos like November rain, Ain't it fun, thunderstruck, dont cry and many more... You can imagine how hard it can be..
