  • 2:19 Theme of Legend of Dracula. One of the best themes in all Castlevania music history, with multiple versions.

  • Really, The first boss in the original Castlevania as the final boss in this?

  • Lol. Love those old castles, how their structure depends on the owner living. When I die, my house should also collapse.

  • no wonder the castle fell. the foundation was as skinny as a stick.

  • This game better come out on the 3DS virtual console.

  • @ilikeluigi I rather see the second game more than this one.

  • That's pretty interesting. I say that b/c I've never seen the original gameboy graphics move so fluent.

  • M. Maegawa!? that's the TREASURE guy from Gunstar Heroes and Ikaruga also SIN AND Punishment Star Successor! Wow he must have gotten sick of working on Castlevanias, he also worked on the SNES Castlevania 4. Glad he left Konami, but it would be cool if Konami hired TREASURE to make Contra V and Castlevania V seeing as they already hired them for GRADIUS V. Just a thought.

  • 2:19

its sounds like a 1980s horror movie and i love it

  • jewish vampires?

  • draculas castle looks like a space ship

  • damn jews i knew they were behind all this mess

  • @iwao72 We eat babies, too. :)

  • his 2nd form music is epic

  • 2:07 - the way Christopher is holding his whip makes it look like he is peein' while watching the castle fall into oblivion.

  • Wow, Christopher just randomly teleports when the castle starts to crumble...>.>

Did he like cast Farore's Wind or something before entering?

  • @KimSulYong Haha Zelda, love both of the series

  • You know, what are those Stars of David doing in the Background? Did they really mess up with the shape of a pentagram? :-D

  • @KingLofiOne actually it's nintendo's way of censoring it, the Japanese version has pentagrams.. the US one has the star of david.... lol

  • @BillyCauseyjr Lol I didn't know that, even though I have the japanese version^^

  • i made it to dracula once ! but i was so nervouse and died , never to pick that game up again !

  • Damn this boss is hard!

  • Umm, this has probably already come up a bunch already, but why are there hexagrams etched into the wall? I know hexagrams can be used in occultism, but a pentagram might have made more sense for Dracula....thos make him look Jewish...

  • I'm guessing Dracula was jewish? In this final scene we constantly see the star of david appearing. I might sound stupid i just never knew he was jewish. I cant imagine that star being in a game today....even though I wouldnt care, its just people are TOO politically correct. I remember the jewish star being on a box of COUNT CHOCULA ....send me a message if u have an explanation

  • At 2:08 looks like he's pissing! xD

  • Pitiful human. Your kind cannot defeat me now.

  • As ever, the ally of worthless humans

  • what no Death?

  • Could you fan boys stop busting on this game. Back when this came out video game AI was pretty devoid of any real intelligence and game mechanics had to fit on a very small memory capacity. Limitations are limitations but this was very fun when it came out.

  • Exactly, even though i found this game frustrating as hell i'm still fond of it!

  • Look, the first 2 Castlevania games came out before this, and they are great, but CVA is just bad.

It's not about limitations or anything, but horrible level design, the stupid whip downgrade thing, and the broken controls.

  • @extensiblelibrarian AI has nothing to do with it, they could have programmed in some more advanced pattersn and set the AI to randomize it and it would have taken up less memory than painting a pixel black... the problem is that this was Konami's first game oy game.

  • @extensiblelibrarian This game is amazing. People need to just shut up and play. It's a very fun entry and a very solid portable game for 1989. The nes games controls were about like these. The jumping physics were a little better in the nes ones but that's really a minor flaw once you realize you just have to wait until you are at the edge of platforms to jump. It's not that hard to adapt. I beat the game at age 10.

  • ON the dracula ( bat ) looks like he's smiling!

    :D is the bat making?

  • Odd game but dracula was a bit easier then then he is now in the newer castlevania games

  • Am I the only one that has trouble believing that Dracula would just fly back and forth and let himself get whacked repeatedly?

  • true. he was ashamed to be part of an early 90s nintendo game and wanted to die.

  • Dieses gute Spiel habe ich auch durchgepackt!

  • I didn't know Dracula was a jew.

  • The symbols on the wall are hexagrams. They're supposed to be the most powerful symbol of the occult and symbolizes 666.

  • thats gotta be the easiest dracula in all of the castlevania games

  • Castlevania II: Simon's Belmont - He can actually die in one hit if you wanted to kill him in one hit.

  • yeah but thats if ur cheap and use the holy water

  • That's the first game, and you have to have enough hearts to kill Drac.

  • @KuchKuto "Simon's Belmont" ::::D And as far as I know, the easiest way to slay Dracula('s Ghost) was spamming the gold dagger. Then again, it's pretty much the same as killing him in one hit since it's a stun lock.

  • @RussellKD No way man. That first form takes a great deal of practice to master. You have to time your movements with the rhythm of Dracula's attacks. He's just making it look easy. The second form can also be hell without the best whip.

  • @RussellKD This boss is a case of being harder than it looks, but not "much" harder. And @KuchKito is right, the Castlevania II boss is almost insultingly easy, but if you want to see a castlevania final boss that's almost depressingly easy, check out the final boss in the MSX port of the original game. First time I played the game, I killed him without getting hit once in either forms. At least you with the SQ final boss you had to have a item to kill him in one hit. /watch?v=9YHGZrJjwo4

  • This propably going to be pentagram

  • Why is there jewish stars in the background? Or is that a pentagram? Someone fill me in here!

  • Dude im really sorry i dont know the real name of it!

  • It's a Hexagram which was also used in witchcraft and alchemy.

  • I just dont know the name of it! I cant HELP it if I dont know something! Im sorry!

  • I'm sorry but that wasn't suppose to be for you, it was suppose for that person who said you're ignorant. GAH!

  • Oh sorry thanks

  • christopher belmont is this guy right?

  • very well played god bless these ppl who made it still one of the best gameboy games ever with an anwesome soundtrack who beats some of the new games any time

  • when Simon Bellmont hit dracula with the whip it sounds like he says waffle waffle waffle waffle waffle

    haha

  • Too bad this isn't Simon.

  • @steve884 umm this is Christopher Belmont.

  • @steve884 That's not Simon, is Christopher Belmont

  • @steve884 Christopher :D

  • lol shortest credits ive ever seen... 7 people...lol

  • haha :D

  • I thought I would never see this again. Im 32, the last time I played this game I was 14. thanks.

  • That's what's great about youtube!

  • I was 8 and I remember it just like it was yesterday... man good times good memories.

  • this is one of the best final boss ever for game boy games!!!It was very difficult to me to won him in the battle!!!Love this game and its music!!!!

  • dracula's second form is a killer, I beat it though... whew!

  • Respect, I couldn't beat this game completely without cheats. It was the hardest Jump'N'run I ever played.

  • omg! how can you finish this game.. stage 1 is the hard.. and stage 2 is already hell

  • is it just me, or is the ending almost exactly the same as Mega Man X?

  • ahah you're right lolololololol

  • retarded ending the castle colapses only when dracula is badly hurt not even killed what did dracula hit the self destruct button to trick him

  • I rate this game 7/10, if only the movement is a bit faster plus if they had the special weapons, this game would be much better.

  • to me stage 3 and 4 are like the hell

  • Its funny, I can easly beat the first 3 stages but the last stage is a complete pain and I only reach Dracula twice but never beat him. In fact I'm going to give this game another shot after watching this video:)

  • Dude is that how easy that boss was but it took forever to kill him long battle easy enemy

  • oh god i tought it was soo creepy when i first beat it cuz of the eriee msic and stuff

  • Out of sync. Can you fix it please? Why do I say it? BECAUSE OUT OF SYNC VIDEOS ARE MY PET PEEVE!!!!!!

  • i didn't know dracula was jewish

  • where u here that

  • He's joking. Google `Star of David'.
