i am a self taught whistle player who memorizes tunes and plays by-ear. I have not been around other players, so I am so happy to find that the techniques i use to add style to my playing are actually the right thing to do - adding cuts and checks (or whatever the lesson 6 called them). VERY INSPIRING ~ thank you

is the transition from a pipe chanter to a tin
whistle easier? i feel like i could just pick that thing up and and play scot wha hea and stuff...
do most pipers have an edge at learning this?

This instrument is used by and Australian band called the Bush Wackers. Their music is called 'bush' music, but it's based on traditional Irish tunes.

he might have better intonation too. if you blow too hard, the whistle is sharp, and if you blow to slowly, it is flat. tricky :P . . .
