  • I wanna hear an orchestrated version!

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Thank you very much for this... ow, my childhood... miss that!!!

  • Me and a friend made a full band cover of this song, it's in the video response :3

  • It's not better than NES version, and NES version is not better than Genesis version. I think the music is great in all Batman games.

  • I loved this game and this song. The music in space harrier is also good.

  • Trop bon

  • wooooooah bad tune.... i had to rewind this man...

  • ...........i am batman and 1 dislike a joker

  • Awesome dark funky music.

  • Heh, I happen to have this game. It's not as great as Sunsoft's NES products but still worth of playing and... Hold on a second... Are those screen shots from NES version of the game in the back cover? õ_Õ

  • This OST is the brother of the Guile's Theme.

  • @patatparod I'd say Ken's Theme would be. :P

  • This is not the track i'm looking for.

  • Never forget when i first heard this glorious soundtrack as a kid, blew me away and i still love it to this day

  • @jafnou No it didn't. Research it. Mortal Kombat killed the Genesis. And the Genesis also had 2 sound chips - the game developers are to blame for the majority of games sounding bad, because they usually only used 1. This game used both though.

  • @Forthias mk killed the genesis... didnt the genesis version fare better then the snes though

  • @SFNDMK The SNES port was and is still considered laughable, yes hahaha. The blood was replaced with grey globs. You can youtube it. I ment this in the fact that after mk1 came out, the genesis lost a lot of business because of parents avoiding more games like it for their children. Poor PR.

  • This music just makes me want to take to the streets and deal with the vermin and scum of society! Friggin Batman ftw!

  • This was my first game on my first console. Ah sweet memories...

  • Is this the same that composed the music for Journey to Silius?????

  • @Chepito2846

    Yes it's the same guy.

  • @Chepito2846 not only did Naoki work on JtS and the Genesis Batman, but he also worked on the NES version of Batman also.

  • Naoki Kodaka at its best.

  • sunsoft games always had good music

  • What a criminally underrated game and soundtrack!

  • ps. i meant that 16 bit vs 8 bit... not soundtrack vs soundtrack.

  • Fucking awsome.

  • Omg this game is the best batman game ever!

  • The only other company that knew how to rock the Genesis sound chip better than this, was the venerable Technosoft.

Sunsoft programmed Super Fantasy Zone for the Genesis, and they did a *stellar* job with the music.

  • the enemies on this level look like Galsias from Streets of Rage

  • @Julienfun Good eyes, good sir/ma'am! I loved the sound they made after being punched.

  • Anyone besides me notice that the lower screenshot on the back of the box is from the NES game?

  • i love many variations of music from old-school batman games for classic game consoles such as- NES,SNES,GENESIS,GAME BOY and etc

  • i like all of variations of music for old-school batman games on- NES,SNES,SEGA GENESIS, and i like to open a new horizons on that way!!!

  • @PanterAmetal100

The SNES version didn't have music, lol xD

  • meh I liked Genesis more then Snes cuz it had Shinobi 3, Sonic, Streets of Rage, the best version of Robocop vs Terminator. The only games I really liked on SNES were SMW and Super Metroid.

  • the sega genesis music is better then the NES

  • Yes, but the Genesis was a next-gen system of the time. Wait a few months, the SNES will trump everything you've got~ (Save Sonic, I'll give them that much.)

  • The SNES doesn't even come close to the Megadrive. Sure it has some brilliant games but some brilliant games just doesn't compare to the Megadrive's amazing amount of brilliant games.

  • @jacksprat1990

Nah, the SNES had major support from the best japanese game companies like Konami, Capcom, Square and Nintendo itself. The SNES library is therefore different, but not any worse than the Genesis. Only idiots cling to one single system nowadays. ;)

  • The Megadrive's music is better than any other console. You just don't get tunes like you did Megadrive.

  • @bladedudentughguy

I respect your opinion, but I still prefer the NES music. ;)

  • @SethTheArcticFox92 same, though genesis had some good music also

  • @SethTheArcticFox92

And what about the Game Boy version? Check out N2A03's channel.

Incidentally, the NES, Game Boy and Genesis versions were all composed by Naoki Kodaka, and they ALL ROCK!

  • @porcorosso81

I mentioned the GB version in another video.

  • @bladedudentughguy lol, most games i prefer the sound of the genesis sound chip to the SNES. I always thought this game sounded awesome on it.

  • @bladedudentughguy No offense... but.. DUH!!!!

  • @bladedudentughguy Dude as a hardcore SEGA fan I must say that this is a superb tune but can't beat the Streets of Desolation..!!

  • Gotham City Streets ROCK!!!!! \m/

  • Great theme song from one of the best SEGA games!! Batman rules =)

  • 'Twas pretty fantastic music in this game, methinks. :)

  • The best song of that amazing (and much hard to complete) game!!!

  • Love that rough twanga bass!

  • THANKS for uploading. gr8 tune, totally

  • This brings me back, I remember playing this game as a kid and the music, and the dismal raining atmosphere of the first level always made me feel like I really was in Gotham.
