I had the same reaction when I got my first horse. I was kinda dumbfounded for a while... It takes a long time for it to sink in that you have your own horse. No one else's horse but yours. It's a lot to take in. :D

i love this video cuz i love horses A LOT from the start i am 13 and my whole room is decorated with horse posters. i use to take riding lessons but i stoped cuz my parents could not afford it. I am so happy because my mom said that i can get a horse when i am 16 only 3 more years :) but what meant the most to me is that she said if she had the money to pay the vet bills, feed, boarding, tack, farrier ect she would get me a horse so she trusts me that i am responsible enough to have a horse ! :)

UPDATE: 2 1/2 years later, Erin is stilling doing well. No signs of the cancer returning. :) Starburst started his training this past summer, is taking this winter off to grow up some more, and we plan to really start riding him more once winter ends. He's just adorable and Erin loves him to death!
