@MrPman851 They stopped making them in 1996. There was a 1996 model, so the Stealth should be included in this 1995 full line Dodge comercial... I think they left it out, because it was made in Japan... :)
I loved my 95 neon. It was the first car i had with some pep to it. Put on a cold air intake and an exhaust. it was a red two door just like the one in the video even had the same wheels. I still miss it to this day. the thing i didn't like about it was that all the small stuff seemed to break and of course the infamous head gasket problems. Thanks for the vid!
@zerglin87 I had a '95 and I love it. I cried when the engine blew up at 130K. I was in tears, I just loved that cute little car! Man was it ever good on gas!!
Vision, yes. Execution, not so much. I had a Chrysler product from this era and it had appaling reliability - I was not alone. Too bad because the car was very comfortable and performance was reasonable. If it had been decently built, I'd be singing its praises instead of saying what a miserable ownership experience it was.
well said.. it really is a shame too.. because America can make a great product.. thousands of solid honda gold wings prove that. But it would seem someone in the design department or somewhere keeps dropping the ball and or cutting too many corners..
@redneon06 thank diamler for all there help with the merger of equals. diamler sucked chrysler dry starting in 98 and by 06/07 tossed them away. chrysler went from the most profitable car company in the world to barely having a pulse in 5 years.
right now dodge built a charger, caliber, and the avenger, but what about the intrepid, stratus, and neon, they dont built it anymore. i hope they will be back some how as a concept vehicle or something.
Wow...they could do no wrong back then! I hope that Chrysler can get it together again. Today's line up of Dodge, Chrysler and Jeeps pales in comparison to what they were offering back in the 90s.
You can say that again! Chrysler seems to be slipping so much. I don't know that the quality is any better or worse than it was back then, but their vehicles aren't sexy now like they were back then. I like the sexy, sleek Dodge's of the 90's, not these new rental boxes they have out now.
You're right! They must've been wanting to just showcase their newest, most modern looking vehicles out at the time. The Ram Van, Dakota, and Spirit were all carryover vehicles from the earlier 90's.
They were! My Mom bought a '92 Acclaim, (same as Spirit) with 40k miles in 1994. She had it until 2001 with 182k miles when I totalled it. She had bought a replacement car in 2000, but she couldn't see parting with the Acclaim because it had been such a great car!
Nice!, my dad bought an '89 Spirit ES (black) brand new. That was an excellent car. I wish I was old enough to drive back then when he had it :( he got rid of it in '96 and bought a '95 Lumina LS, also a great car. What did she replace the Acclaim with??
She replaced it with an '89 Volvo 740 Turbo with 138k miles. She was nervous about it because it was older and had high mileage, but she kept the Volvo until 2005 and put 224k miles on it. She didn't regret the purchase one bit. Great car. She liked it so much she replaced the 740 with a '95 940 with 141k miles. She's had it now for 4 years and put 180k miles on it. Incredible car. She wants another to replace her current, but it's so hard to find nice ones now because they are so old.
Yeah, you really can't go wrong with a Volvo. They last forever!! I still see many 240, 740s from the 80s on the road, whether they are in nice shape or not, they're still in existance!
ha to bad all thos cars are barley running now

My all time favorite Dodge are the Stealth R/T and the Viper (Both GTS and RT/10)
Dodge (and Chrysler) should revive those magnificent cars today.. :D

Same here zerglin. It sounded pretty good when you would red line at 7k rpm.

DODGE was awesome!!! What a shame. A minute of silence for the old Chrysler, that was vision.

Those cars were The New Dodge, and they only had maybe 2 major revisions from 93-00.
They should have improved what they had. My 95 neon was a quick gas saver.
I loved driving my moms 95 Intrepid.
Im still pleased with my PT.
Mother got an awesome 02 Intrepid.
Then Chysler started to struggle, so they should have left well enough alone.

Funny how they left out the boxy '95 Dodge Spirit and Dakota, which were more dependable than any of these sleek junkers.

they also left out the Dodge Ram Van!!!
