  • all the intel fanboys are mad cause they just dropped a 1000 dollars on the i7 and this cpu kicks ass at less than 300 who has the best bang for the buck AMD thats who! who feels like a jackass not the poeple who support AMD thats who I and feel proud to own an AMD PHENOM! CANT WAIT TO GET A SIX CORE!

  • @dan75robot lol no its not better then the intel cpu the i5 2500k beat it

  • @buzz9961 I wouldn't say i5 is directly better than the bulldozer. However, it is better in games.

Bulldozer does squash the i5 when it comes to calculations though. Bulldozer is a great CPU, its just a bit overpriced.

  • well i thought someone said intel would be aprox 5 years ahead when they released the i7 processor, i guess that source was wrong since this monster beats the digital crap out of intel.

  • It was overclocked at 8.4ghz so this thing is a monster it's amazing

  • Thats old news.

The latest news say that FX-8150P is going to have clock speed of 3.6GHz and 4.2GHz turbo

  • 3.6GHZ for his CPU and 4.2 GHz Turbo mode acoording to Hardware.info

But I hope you are right.

  • And ya the specs you're reporting sound about right. AMD detailed Bulldozer fairly heavily at Computex. They also displayed a fully functional, packaged Trinity die... which makes me wonder why I can't buy it until 2012.

  • Almost stock voltage? For 5Ghz on a 2500 or 2600K? I think not my friend. NO K sku sandy bridge chip will hit 5Ghz on less than 1.38-1.4V. That is for an absolute AAA+ bin CPU. Realistically you're looking at 1.45 to 1.5V on an average bin cpu to hit 5Ghz. This is not sustainable on an average 3 year lifespan daily driver PC.

Stock voltage (3.8Ghz full load) for a K sku 2600 is approximately 1.27V. You will not find a sandybridge cpu that will run 5Ghz at that. Period.

  • You should probably post some annotations correcting this video, the specs have been confirmed to be fake. WCCF isn't a reliable source these days.

  • yeah which motherboard do you think will work best with the bulldozer chips.the 990fx sabertooth. or the Crosshair V Formular?

  • @TechXpertUK Both should be good for overclocking haven't seen any comparison tests of them. I say go for the one with the options you want and best price honestly.

  • Nice update bro, can't wait for bulldozer to release...^^

  • @Lionheart1188 Just read that they should be coming late July or early August. There was a delay but seems it was for the server chips since they want to take thr market on those being that what they really are designed for iirc.

  • @ComputerTechTV that's sweet, I guess i'll be putting some money aside, and waiting for these then, maybe i'll order the mobo in the next month or two and wait for the cpu's, I already have two hd6970's a ssd, and storage drive, case, monitor, keybaord and mouse :) all I need is the mobo and cpu. and some after market cooling.

  • @unokilo321 Nice hardware what case are you using?

  • @ComputerTechTV I have a haf 932. I need to put my power supply in to make sure it clears the radiator if it doesn't I might have to get one of those swiftech rad box's that go on the rear 120mm fan and mount on of the rads outside

  • @unokilo321 Mount the PSU on bottom and rad on top cant it fit 2 PSUs in that case??

  • @ComputerTechTV yea hit can, I am going to try and mount a 2x120mm rad on the top and on the bottom, and have the psu top mounted. if it doesn't work i'll just bottom mount the psu and put a 3x120mm rad in the top and a 2x120mm rad on the back

  • On Wikipedia it list the FX-8150P as 4.0Ghz and 4.4 Ghz on turbo which sounds more believable

  • @Mamod334 Yea sound a bit more believable to me.

  • I'm betting these specs are fake, i find it hard to believe AMD would be able to pull that off... it would be crazy if they did though, they would have to come with an Asetek as a stock cooler lol!

  • @sharpshoooter82 That's where I saw it and decided to let anyone here know that didn't see it.

  • OMFG

  • fuck yeah!! I can't wait! the new mobo's have the new bios where you can use the mouse like the current sandy bridge, sli/crossfire ready! amd is looking very promising these days, i've never had an intel cpu and now that bulldozer is coming out, I don't think i'll ever have one :)

  • @unokilo321 Thanks for watching SLI on these boards will be sweet! Have you seen the 990FX Sabertooth is looks awesome!

  • @ComputerTechTV yeah I saw it, I'm Jordan from FB, I posted the sabertooth on my wall from NCIX com, it surely is a nice mobo. can't wait to see the bulldozer's and other new mobo's coming out, the gigabyte 990fxa-ud7 looks crazy too it's under $300cad, and supports 2, 3 and 4 way sli/crossfire.

  • @unokilo321 Hey whats up thinking about going with a Gigabyte board myself they are super reliable and run cool.

  • @ComputerTechTV yeah, I like their mobo's i've only had Gigabyte mobo's for the last couple of years, they work great, even the cheap $49 mobo I bought from them. :) i'm just looking at ncix and looking at some stuff, played some black ops earlier, just waiting for some friends to finish their scrim so we can play in a pub server
