Love the sense of speed in this game! You prefer the rockin' soundtrack of the Dreamcast and on games? I felt this game had a decent mix of orchestral, classic Sonic, and the newer rock stuff. But yeah, I admit SA2 had some songs that just made you want to SCREAM through a level.

the only way the werehog can be fun is if you upgrade the combat, strength, and the unleashed bar. ALOT. I did so much to the werehog, it's finally fun to kick the crap out of those things(I only like 4 levels of thw werehog. adabat, shamar, apotos, and mazuri. honest to god). it's actually boring from the start when you play the werehog. enough of bad commenting crap people!

Wow. The Sonic boost is a mix of items from past Sonic games. Invincibility, speed up, and ring magnet.

Yah, and the greatest thing is, you can make it last the entire level if you're good enough! Invincibility and Speed-Up both wear off after about 15-30 seconds, and you lose Ring Magnet when you get hit. The Sonic Boost is freacking unlimeted though!

I'm not the only one calling the Knux and Tails missions garbage. No, his gameplay wasn't that fast, and even if it was, it doesn't matter because it was BORING. Looking for emeralds in a giant stage isn't fun. It's boring, and gives me a headache. The Tails missions weren't as bad, but they weren't fun either. Just some contrived shooter that has no place being in a Sonic game. Btw, you realize the werehog can run right?

Try going for every ring/rainbow ring/enemies. Time is not really that important for S rank. You can get a mediocre time and still get S rank for pwning all the enemies and getting rings.

Man I want this so bad.I want to master this game, & I will after I've had it for a while and gotten all abilities and learn the controls(never takes me long). I'll (should) have a hold of it in no time (I am a fast learner at video games, and I'm also a fast learner at school. Who ever said video games rot your brain must have been brain dead, because all the stuff games require you to learn give your brain quite a workout in many categories, especially physical games like DDR and Guitar hero).

Its still not a perfect game. You go into towns and talk to useless people, in semi-bland environments. Werehog stages take you away from the speed and throws you into a Luffy the Pirate armstretching rabies sonic freak, and do basic platforming until you get into Power Stone-esqe brawls against silly enemies. Mind you though Werehog has a pretty decent set of combo's to dole out.

Besides that, you WILL get good 'ole sonic like this video, but you have to practice the level to pwn like this XD

I only borrowed this game (For GameStop employee's only to test-try the game for info/sales sake). I had to return it, so I didn't see anything past the third continent (Out of 7, 7 Chaos emeralds etc.). I think spin dash might be later in the game, but as of right now, I didn't get to acquire it.
