Then just a couple months later is ON VIDEO saying he didn't know where Bin Laden was and he wasn't much of a concern. He lied us into Iraq costing thousands of lives, billions/trillions of dollars, and caused gas prices to rise THROUGH THE ROOF. He turned Clinton's 10-year projected $5.6 TRILLION SURPLUS into a $8 TRILLION DEFICIT (a difference of $13.6 TRILLION).
Where Bush acted badly on intelligence he was given, Obama acted superbly and that resulted in the KILLING of Bin Laden. Then instantly the oil prices plummeted and has dropped about 9% just since Bin Laden was killed. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt the "war on terror" has cost the US economy greatly and that the GOP "drill baby drill" talking point is COMPLETE BS! All the GOP cares about is lining their pockets with money from special interest groups like OIL companies.

Oil prices dropped 9% just days after Bin Laden was killed, so what does that say for the effect of the "war on terror" on our economy?

Gas prices take time to reflect the price of oil. Why is it that you can't seem to understand that things don't happen instantly? Lower oil prices WILL propagate into lower gas prices. Gas prices are expected to drop by 50 cents by summer... and considering gas prices usually go UP approaching summer, that's big!

The "hear and now" is oil prices dropped 15% in a week, that is a fact. Gas prices reflect oil prices, that is also a fact. Therefore, it is not some "wild theory" to predict that gas prices would drop too... The exact 50 cent figure may be a an estimate (and it could be a low estimate or a high one), but the fact that gas prices reflect the price of oil isn't an assumption. In fact gas prices DROPPED by a penny yesterday, they didn't go up. So your "fact" was wrong.
I also gave you another "here and now" example that once again you chose to ignore, "we went from LOOSING 725,000 jobs per month, GDP -6%, heading towards another GREAT DEPRESSION, etc. to GAINING 244,000 jobs last month, a GDP of +3%, avoiding a depression, etc. in just 2 1/2 years." This is not "speculation", "opinion", or "predictions" on the future, these are the FACTS of what ALREADY HAPPENED. Since you keep dodging this fact we both know you have no basis for your claim.

If Obama is "destroying America" as you claim, then how do you explain the fact that Obama inherited an average net job loss of 725,000 jobs lost PER MONTH and then after the stimulus was implemented that number IMMEDIATELY started shrinking and has steadily continued to shrink until about 7 months ago when it broke into the NEG JOB GAIN and has been positive ever since. How do you explain the GDP, and DOW Jones instantly improving after the stimulus? (See next post for sources).

Then just a couple months later is ON VIDEO saying he didn't know where Bin Laden was and he wasn't much of a concern. He lied us into Iraq costing thousands of lives, billions/trillions of dollars, and caused gas prices to rise THROUGH THE ROOF. He turned Clinton's 10-year projected $5.6 TRILLION SURPLUS into a $8 TRILLION DEFICIT (a difference of $13.6 TRILLION).

Where Bush acted badly on intelligence he was given, Obama acted superbly and that resulted in the KILLING of Bin Laden. Then instantly the oil prices plummeted and has dropped about 9% just since Bin Laden was killed. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt the "war on terror" has cost the US economy greatly and that the GOP "drill baby drill" talking point is COMPLETE BS! All the GOP cares about is lining their pockets with money from special interest groups like OIL companies.

The economy had been tanking and the cost of living had been going up LONG before Obama ever set foot into office. The policies set into place by the previous administration are the reason for the situation we have now. The main reason for the increased cost of living is the price of GAS (which ripples through everything else like the food costs). Oil prices dropped 9% just days after Bin Laden was killed, so what does that say for the effect of the "war on terror" on our economy?

Bush was the one who waged the phony "war on terror" and then just months later missed an opportunity to get the very guy he STARTED said "war" over. This was AFTER 9/11 when we had a hell of a lot more incentive to kill him. Also Bin Laden was a "suspect" in Cole, but he never took credit for it. But since our topic here is "destroying the country" the key point I'm making is the huge negative effect of the "war on terror" on the economy, which Bush certainly IS responsible for.

We went from LOOSING 725,000 jobs per month, GDP -6%, heading towards another GREAT DEPRESSION, etc. to GAINING 244,000 jobs last month, a GDP of +3%, avoiding a depression, etc. in just 2 1/2 years. Gas prices take time to reflect the price of oil. Why is it that you can't seem to understand that things don't happen instantly? Lower oil prices WILL propagate into lower gas prices. Gas prices are expected to drop by 50 cents by summer... and considering gas prices usually go UP approaching summer, that's big!

The only time they are slow to move is when oil drops in price and that doesn't seem to bother you huh??? Yes, there was a bit of a bounce back today (rose 4%)...and I sure as hell hope that doesn't continue. And gas prices actually FELL by a penny today (they didn't rise). So yes, the reaction is slow.

The "hear and now" is oil prices dropped 15% in a week, that is a fact. Gas prices reflect oil prices, that is also a fact. Therefore, it is not some "wild theory" to predict that gas prices would drop too... The exact 50 cent figure may be a an estimate (and it could be a low estimate or a high one), but the fact that gas prices reflect the price of oil isn't an assumption. In fact gas prices DROPPED by a penny yesterday, they didn't go up. So your "fact" was wrong.
