  • My name is sundance so kool lol

  • Crapiest crap since crap mcgey

  • STUPID LITTLE KID!!! GOT WHAT HE DESERVED!!!! LOL Great short though

  • type in "The Harrison House Trailer" on youtube.

it's a 600 dollar budget film that is being sent to sundance as we speak

  • I hope that stupid little fucker dies.

  • Attention FILMMAKERS Sundance is a fraud, and scam and is part of an undercover investigation go to SCAM FEST THE MOVE TO FIND OUT MORE

    Scam Fest

  • wow that kid is a fuckin idiot

  • Stupid kid!

  • That was absolutely horrible. One, why would the stupid boy call out for the zombie if they were barricaded in away from it? Why did the boy take the glowing thing and put it right there on the floor. Why would he go up and cuddle with the damn zombie? That kid was at least ten, does he understand nothing? On the other hand, boring camera work, bad acting, and crappy sound effects.

  • Is it just me or are there hints at sex all throughout this?

  • chronically lacking in substance, but just enough to keep small minds intrigued.

  • I'D FUCK HER.

  • i feel like it lacks a lot of elements that help identify the plot of the film, like the mother, there are no indications of what that orb actually does and why the daughter had to kill her. well shot and but it lacks some elements :/

  • @mikeyEDITS i think it's pretty obvious why the daughter had to kill her. i would. and the orb is the cause of the transformation. yes, it's lacking a lot of elements, but it's a short film. there's only so much information you can cram in less than ten minutes. as for me, i'd rather have something that keeps me wondering, rather than an infodump of useless plot elements that just kills the atmosphere.

  • Pandemic was really enjoyable and suspenseful. The multiple layers of the story leave me wanting to delve deeper. Is there an underlying meaning of this sickness that has affected the adults in this world? There was also a very cool immersive ‘in real life’ Transmedia experience that accompanied the film at its’ world première at Sundance this year. Can’t wait to find out how and when we will get another piece of the story. Just brilliant!

  • I really enjoyed your film.

I love to get inspired by other Directors.

Your elements of building suspense were the thing that stood out most to me.

    Good job.

I look forward to seeing your future films.

  • Nicely done!

  • i think this film was mostly focusing on creating "the feel"..the suspenseful atmosphere...

  • Was that last image Pennsylvania?

  • Stupid kid... ugh, why can't kids just listen

  • and that kid, even though he's annoying, that's his character. you see him going through old photographs and still calling her "mother" even though he knows she's changed, because what he longs for the most is going back to when she was still alive. it falls into the idea of child wanting to be with its mother, thus the fearlessness... it's actually tragic.. and creepy, considering her situation!

  • holy sh*t that's scary.

didn't anyone read the info box? it's a PANDEMIC. meaning the mother caught some sort of disease that made her turn into a monster. i'm guessing that glowy thing is the source of it? idk. maybe it's an alien disease. :D

  • I have this nagging feeling that the people that left negative comments are a bunch of bitter film students that couldn't get their sweet ol' granny to watch their movie because all their work stinks. This is a darn gd production. keep up the good work fellas. Just try and keep the plot as original as possible before you produce the full feature.

  • EL GALLO

  • I jumped so hard lol and I'm on an iPhone

  • It was good up until the glowing thing appeared. Then it became a cliche horror movie. Although I must say, it was more enjoyable to watch than the grudge or the ring.

  • I'm reading a lot of negative comments regarding this short film, and I must say, I quite liked it. I thought it was interesting... I thought it was intriguing. The audio&sound effects were subtle-enough to create the mood&didn't overwhelm the actors or disrupt the scenes. I liked the camera-angles, very creative&well-thought out. The lighting was perfect in each scene&appropriate. I studied each frame&found great detail. Nicely-edited. I thought it was great!!! Well-done!

  • there are going to be 44 ( I think) short film releases all haveing to do with an ARG experience... Lance is a master at this...

  • Wow, fantastic soundtrack!

  • as far as i can read of the FEMA USAR marking is that it's a completed search in a safe structure, the house was searched on the 18th of january, the left quadrant is the rescue team, i think it says BLHX, couldn't read it in 1080p, but i think it said that. Also, seems there is a gas leak and there were 4 individuals were found in the building, not defined if they where dead, but looking this is FEMA USAR, and a barricaded silent neighboorhood, i'd think the individuals were deceased.

  • I was literally screaming for that boy to be killed he deserved it!

  • So I jumped like 3 times just watching 8 minutes of it! Lmao I really want to this the whole thing!!! Does anyone know how, when and where I can watch it?!?! Please tell me!!! Thank you :)

  • @TheJogirl0519 its a short film, you watched all of it

  • When the girl says "Tyler its time" he checks his wrist as if there is a watch. But of course. No watch. Yay for tyler.

  • What the crap in the mom?? I want to see a full film of this. It looks AWESOME.

  • gunshots dont sound like that from outside

  • that little kid is stupid. movies are always like this. someone always gotta do something stupid.

  • this needs to be longer...i really got into this film

  • She should have just left her stupid brother there. Dumbass kid!

  • @EDAQUINOXXX Somebody please kick that little boys ass someone is always doing something stupid. oh well its film lool

  • I have so many questions.....and I can't wait to have them anserwed!

  • i would have shot that dumbass

  • 1. stop at 0:00

    2. press the up and left key at the same time

    3. enjoy your game of snake

    4. sub me if it works.

  • @NYDEUCEStv OLD

  • Not bad.

  • Chicks who can pick locks, definitely hot. Seriously though, interesting take.

  • eh, andy and zach was a better sundance submission

  • wtf

  • This is really really good. They built tension and mystery out of 3 actors in a house. That takes a lot of talent in front of and behind the camera.

  • That kid really is an idiot. He just looks....slow. He walks slow, he's slow to react, and he does dumb-shit things. If I was the sister, I would slap him a new one. A zombie apocalypse is no time to act like a moron.

  • Great work Lance. I can't wait to see how you build out from this and explore this new transmedia franchise. Good luck... #transmedia

  • Shes Hot!!!

  • Good one!

  • da fuck?

  • If you type in the coordinates on Google Maps it takes you to a rape crisis service in Scranton, Philidelphia.

    wat

  • without Tyler "being annoying" there wouldn't be a storyline. there always has to be at least one character in this kind of situation that pushes the boundaries and does exactly what he shouldn't do in order for the action to start happening. besides he's a little kid, that's what they do.

  • I think you're all being a little tough on the kid. Imagine what trauma like that would do to a young child. And to not have it come and go, but fester like a sore, laying there in bed every day as a constant reminder that your life is now fucked.

  • that kid is really annoying,,, and stupid

  • okay!

  • what do the numbers in the title mean?

  • @tagtani I think they're latitude and longitude coordinates.

  • Good filming but it couldn't be any less original. Innovate the genre. Flying zombies would be traumatizing

  • I kinda wanna slap that Tyler kid.....

  • Tyler needed a shock collar that limited him to his room.

  • The camera quality is really good. Can't say the same about the sound... or the title

  • that was weird

  • this fucking sucks and was a huge waist of time!!!!!

  • @SuppyShuck you didn't use "waist" correctly. The correct for would be "waste"

    -sincerely, a grammar nazi

  • Boring.

For being a short, it's really dull and has no story. It's like being in the middle of a feature and that's lame for being a short. Also the mom going into the bed is total j-horror rip off. the filmmaker is trying too hard to be cool. Basically this blows and I'm guessing the only reason it got into sundance is cause Ted Hope's name is in the credits.

  • Interesting work

  • Idg all the negative comments, it was an interesting 9 minutes of film....

  • I'm not trying to be a jerk, but how was this put into the official selection of Sundance?

  • @TheDirectorofFoo Yeah I'm with you, I'm interested to see where this ARG goes, but the video itself is not particularly good. I don't know how Sundance makes their selections, but the fact that this is the start of an ARG might have influenced their decision.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheDirectorofFoo What do you think should have been in it?

  • is there a part 2?

  • go fuck a cook

  • Wtf?

  • Sundance is corrupt , they are being investigated by the States Attorney, for unethical practice and for stealing millions of dollars from submission fees from filmmakers.

    Its rigged

  • 41.410806, -75.654259 is in Scranton Pennsylvania. I wonder if Michael Scott caught the bug...

  • i would have just killed tyler

  • FUCKING TYLER. I DONT WANT KIDS.

  • HOLY SHIT 7:35 i jumped in my chair.

  • the technical aspects shooting, editing and so on were all very well done It's the writing that needed serious work, too much Isn't explained to the viewer

I'd either get someone else or have them take some classes to Improve there writing.

  • @grayman404 a lot of sundance films do that... artists will throw something together, it could be absolute nonsense, but the idea is someone somewhere will enjoy it and make sense of it. just because it doesnt make sense doesnt mean its a shitty film.

  • @Hitlo58 but according to what you just said (absolute nonsense), it DOES make it a shitty film. I'm not calling it bad or shitty but it really isn't very good at all - not "sundance" at least. There has to be better shorts entered into the festival. 1 - it's not really a satisfying short. It's a fragment. sorry, that's bad writing. 2. it's derivative. Every aspect of zombies is done to death. 3. mood is totally j-horror (yawn) There is nothing new or unique or fresh.

  • poor kid really misses his mom.. ! , beautiful house in a beautiful place. :)

  • Somebody needs to perform an exorcism on that bitch.

  • This was good!

  • i want to punch that fucking kid in the face

  • Looks to be much more about zombies to me. I think the best movies are the ones that bring us to think about how we would act with loved ones during a break down from our picture perfect society that we are so spoiled on....great job on the film would love to see more....

  • The coordinates 41.410806, -75.654259 leads us to a Rape Crisis Service.....

  • ENUF with the zombies already! Sheez- can't writers use their imaginations and come up with something besides zombies and vampires?! I thought this might be something along the lines of Stephen King's, "The Stand", which was an amazing book (his best, i.m.o.) and began with a realistically possible pandemic that was FAR more terrifying than any zombie flick out there. Otherwise- the directing, lighting, and other tech work were well done. Just find a better writer!

  • @talitakoomi It wasn't a zombie!

  • thear not zombies thear just addicted to glowing space crack

  • @talitakoomi I don't know how you got a "Zombie" out of that. It was a human how showed nocturnal violence and was mostly dormant at day. There's nothing that point at "Zombie", but whatever she was it was interesting to see the work.

  • not that scary or intense, but looks interesting.

  • @snapapple123 ur an idiot

  • This is awesome job And also scary

  • DAmn ShiT this was Scary then any Horror film that i've watched in my entire Life!

  • that was intense. great job :D

  • Does anyone still gets disturbed by zombies ? This is not the 80's you know ...

  • @doldei Zombies are fuckin awesome, gtfo.

  • Wtf is with the glowing, mutating candle?

  • hii

  • this was scary...

  • How come there's an International USAR marking on one of the houses at the 8:12 -8:30 scene?

  • Why were those two kids so mean to the person on the bed, they are nothing but Spoiled Brats.

  • Scary and well edited!!

  • So this is happening in PA?

  • loved it!!!

  • Great film. Superbly edited!

  • Soooooo creepy. But it's beautifully shot! I loved the mom rolling on the bed.

  • Nice.

  • well done. wish it was longer.

  • holy crap ...that was scary on so many levels

  • Amazingly done.

  • Nicely Done!
