I've got to be honest, I never saw this season, but I saw a lot pictures and clips of Ruben and I usually saw him wearing sports jersies, ball caps and baggy pants. When I saw him wearing stuff like that, I honestly thought that his specialty was RAP. Boy, was I way off! I love soulful singing, much more than RAP.

I can not believe that Ruben was dropped from his recording contract! Taylor Hicks was, but that I CAN believe, but Ruben?!

Ruben Studdard is a great singer. I don't know about Rap or Rock & Roll, but Ruben is a natural with soulful, passionate songs. Ruben could be the NEW Luther Vandeross!

Luther Vandeross passed away a little while back and I think Ruben is the perfect one to fill Luther's shoes!

Barry White, another soulful singer, passed away too. But I don't think Ruben has a deep enough voice to fill Barry's shoes. In fact I don't think anybody does! LOL!
