I was really sad that they didn´t play in argentina after moment of surrender.....if the audience had started chanting it, they would have played it, but there was such a quiet audience that night, such a shame!
@jmactemin The Red Rocks film audience had the same situation when they played 40... the only difference is one of their tour managers sung into a microphone under the stage to get the crowd going. Suffice to say, it worked pretty well, but the film is edited to not show this
@frynross1 Yes I knew that, but U2 were not "the big u2" at that time, they were a bit unknown and 40 was not a hit single, so many people didn't know it, besides, you can hear the tour manager's voice singing "HOOOOOOOOW LOOOOOONG", of course as you said, It's edited to cover the mistake
does anybody know if this was recorded at the 4 july hippodrome show where somebody opened a canister of tear gas during the 'with or without you' encore?
