to those people criticizing this game for having way too much "fan service" you guys obviously haven't played the game and are just getting the idea from the trailer. THIS GAME DOESN'T REALLY HAVE MUCH. They just pretty much packed all the fan service from the game into the three japanese trailers. once you've watched them you've seen almost all the fanservice in the game...(same with the last game except there was only one scene that had fanservice in it and everyone was complaining about that)

All I want cause really everyone keep saying that the game is bad the game is good which one is it? cause I don't wanna get the game and be dissapointed by it. and Compile and Idea factory really don't have the best battle system in my opinion. it's good to combo, but it gets boring especially with the music, it would be great if they had mother 3 style in the combo system meaning if you fight on the beat of the music you get stronger...oh well mk 2 better be good.

@supershadow125 i personally think this game was pretty good. the battle system looks similar to eternal sonata(although the combo system is still there) and you dont really need to skip through the battles since the speed is just fine. but one thing i dont like with it is that it can get pretty easy if you grind too much (no difficulty settings either...)

@supershadow125 It depends. You will only enjoy the first game if you have a lot of experience regarding Japanese media, cliches, games and the game companies/producers/studios etc.. Like 5pb, Nippon Ichi, GUST etc. . Things like Henshin/Transforming. IMO, the gamers who didn't enjoy this game is probably cause they aren't used to this genre of game, they are more into the standard j-RPGs with story, fights and flashy skills.

When the first on came out hyperdimension neptunia i was like i wasted a good $60 that i could buy on something else but when i came back to it felt well nice. If you want a new feel to jrpgs e.g. Battle and Item system be my guest and buy it. If your still having trouble deciding go look at "HyperDimension Neptunia gameplay" and that's what the battle and item system will be like in this game =)

I really hope they put some more effort into the combat this time. As much as I love NIS and their developers, HDN1's combat was some of the most boring rpg fare I've ever played. Rest of the game was rather cute and funny, but when your game is primarily a dungeon crawler, horrible combat is not excusable.

@Sylverias Combat is much improved from what I've seen in other vids. You can now move the characters on the field during their turn as well as take 4 characters into battle and 4 others to support them thanks to the new Lily System. You can also use healing items when you want instead of the game using them automatically. The only thing that sucks about the sequel is that they removed the Active Animation System for the dialogue sequences, instead using 3D models like in Rune Factory Oceans.

IF's background is green (instead of blue like the official wallpapers from the previous game), and Chika strangely resembles an HDD version of IF, plus how there's no "normal" version of Chika, only HDD. Maybe I went too far? lol.

Instead, you get to play as Neptune's sister (the purpled haired girl in the school uniform that turns into the pink haired girl) and three new characters. Of course, Compa and IF are playable again.

It actually have good sells? All I heard that HDN had barely any sell... At where I live there's like 4 different game shops near me and only 1 of them had any copy of HDN, and there were only 2 copies until I bought one which makes it 1 copy
