@aylix89 Those are a ziploc product, I think. They actually come in different colors and they're designed to fit any bowl. Wish I would've thought of the idea lol
I usually, do everything for the parties we have. I stick to the budget and we end up having plenty left overs for the next day some how.I like the way you hooked it up and most importantly, the stainless steel cookware was pleasing to the eye...Carolyn you rock!
Caroline the food looked great and healthy! Loved the way you prepared ahead, I'm sure that prevented that running around with a chicken with our head cut off feeling the day of a get together!. Thanks for sharing. I don't really like planning parties, but this is tempting me to start out small (about 7-8 people)
@2010KH Exactly! Small parties are the best. Not only can you stay within a budget, but you'll feel closer to your guests during the party instead being trapped in the kitchen. Shoot, I like to catch up on the latest gossip within my inner circle LOL.
This was sooo helpful and right on time for me to see Carolyn, thanks so much for these tips, and your right about breaking traditions - sometimes things come out better spontaneously done...I'm preparing for a baby shower on the 27th this week so i took plenty of notes on how to keep it nice, chic, and cheap! =)
Thank you so much for this video. It is right on time. My daughter's sweet sixteen is coming up in a couple of months and this information is so helpful.
You are welcome. sometimes we have to tell people this even if they get chest pains in their legs.lol or make them as my late great DAD used to say WIND or invisible sandwiches.lol. have a great week end.
Great job! great video Carolyn! every thing looks like a food rain bow, so nice! Carolyn one idea in these WORLD WIDE economic times some times I feel especially among good friends and family each guest at a party could bring something ( OTHER THAN THEIR APPETITE lol ) to the party.
Thanks for sharing this video. A very nice job. I use coupons to cut down the cost of the food, when I plan a party like this one. Very good tips, I will use the plastic shower cap type covers at my friends baby shower..what a great idea. Thanks!
Honeeyyyy!! I'm only 24, but my mother taught me well. "Don't try to keep up with the Joneses...they went BROKE!" LOL! I love the fact that you're taking us around with you, very cool. You're not always in the same kitchen cooking the same stuff. It keeps things interesting. I SO love your channel lol.. - Hahahahaha!! I loooove that cover for the fruit! I thought she gave it to you to put on top of your head at first so your hair wouldn't get in the food LOL. Oops. Those tacos looked GREAT!!
@Shyloh8 Thanks I'm glad you liked the video. I have to get used to being followed lol...so not my deal. Yeah your mother sounds like mine, they definitely keep it real :)
