I can get one of these for christmas: MacBook Pro i5 320gb or MacBook Air i5 128gb. @TweFoji That bootup time is so bad because of the crappy Seagate drive in the MBP base model. I replaced mine with a 7200 rpm 500 GB from Toshiba for 50 dollars. I went from taking a full minute to boot up to only seeing 7-10 revolutions now of the grey rotator. I have the i7 version of the laptop for a while, and can say that after updating the HD in the i5, I can tell no difference between the machines.
