I never saw the poles up close, but I always guessed that they used the old school velcro tabs to slip it up and down.

Those must've been a bitch to spin. Especially on tosses. Because the weight and drag would always vary depending on where your silk got caught at that point.

BTW. I will audition for Onyx as soon as I turn 18 or 19. I have such a deep compassion for guard. This performance live brought mwe to tears all of the four times I've seen it. The Asian guy up front at 0:48, his flag work is so emotional. I can't keep my eyes off of him. He is such an inspirational how he sends emotions through his body and into the flag. I would love to meet him. :D

I was told by one of the members personally that is in the weapon line that its supposed to also represent the Holocaust. And the pain behind it, and wanting someone to help them. Thats why everyone seems to get so emotional about it. They capture all the pain and agony behind it.

This show is extremely beautiful.

It's even more beautiful when you get the story behind it.

This is my favorite group so I was looking at their website and they told about the show in a small article.

Aparently The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas influenced the show.

Which helps peice everything together.

Anyways. I can't wait to audition either, though I won't be able to until the 2012 season.

I'm going to try to go to a clinic this summer though.
