I've used the Iscar high-helical on a Mazak QT-20. With the right feed-rated, the finish is outstanding. The hard part is getting the old-time shop foreman to actually read the packaging and not just use the same feed rate he's always used (or pull one out of his a##).
thats pretty vague question, when you say 3 types of inserts, it leaves countless interpretations, Rough, Semi-finish and finish, or Turning inserts, Milling inserts or Grooving inserts, Grades of inserts, what grades for steel, SS and high temps,
