@MycoolC123 You get corrupted data on a game when using Prometheus? Never had that happen to me. Change ISO Driver in Prometheus, then retry the game. I believe you change it with the SELECT button. Yes you can play PSX. You must convert them to EBOOT using the PSX2PSP tool I included. Then place them in GAMES folder as you would normally do with a purchased psn game. I don't know of any cheat engines since I don't use them.

@MycoolC123 Nothing is wrong. That's the way it should be. If its slightly different than in the video its because I'm using hen-d for the video. E is the newest version. Suspend is like sleep mode I guess. What are you wanting to do?
@MycoolC123 You don't place program files anywhere. That's where the program files you may want are. I simply put them in a folder. Other than that, I left instructions in the download.

@MycoolC123 This works on any psp model with 6.20. Some say the permanent patch is risky, some not. Go to wololo(dot)net and check out the forums. You don't need to sign up to see anything. They have posted about the permanent patch. I never read them since I don't mind spending 15 seconds going to hen mode.

@darkscilence Prometheus has nothing to do with the eboots. You just run them from games like any other. Prometheus gives you a black screen because you need isos in the ISO folder to see any games. I give two separate options so you can decide what works best for you. Open Idea is just two .prx files that go in systems folder. That's all you need for the eboots to run from games.

dude what are u talking about when u mention this DriDri's Open Idea XMB Loader (must convert ISO/CSO's to Eboot first by using included tool. Jug drag and drop the file over the iso packer icon in the Open Idea Eboot Builder folder. A black window will appear showing the percentage of completion. When finished close window, or press any key to exit. Place both .prx files in PSP-SYSTEM folder as is. Nothing else is needed. Games will show up under Games Section of PSP. Click to run from there.
@darkscilence It's another option ONLY if you want your games to appear under Games section of your psp. Otherwise stick with Prometheus ISO loader and you will use the list it give you to select a game from. Those were the directions to use dridris loader if you wanted it that way. Less compatibility though.
@bobbysteve15 Yes. This works on ALL psp models with 6.20 ofw. There are exploits similar to this called Pro. But its for 6.31, 35, 38 and 39 ofw. There is a hen also for 6.39 but I don't know if they ported the ISO loaders to it yet. Which is better? I haven't tried Pro because the TN hen works so well for me. Plus I didn't want to update. And yes you can downgrade to 6.20 and then use hen. I suggest hen, some prefer pro. Visit wololo(dot)net forums for opinions.
@aishiteruxxi IDK. I don't use psn from my psp, I use media go. I don't play online. Not sure if you should go online anyways when in hen mode. They might be able to detect it. But I really don't know.
@OldClassicGamer you don't need hbl for this. It doesn't run psx eboots either. The hen is easier to enable and has more features to offer. Plus you don't need patapon to run it.
@OldClassicGamer Go to wololo(dot)net and they have posted a downgrader for any psp model with 6.39 so you can downgrade to 6.35 for Pro or 6.20 for HEN.
@jumbokevin I included one in my link with many other emulators and even with installation instructions. The games go in the roms folder of the emulator which is in games folder.
@thisismyname1231 Actually, you're in luck. Developer "Some1" released a downgrader a few days ago that 6.38 and 6.39 users can downgrade any PSP Model to 6.20 for the TN HEN. I don't have it linked nor the know how so visit ---> Wololo(dot)net and there is a link for it and people who can help you if you can't figure it out. Wololo has a Youtube video of him actually using it. Let me send it to ya...

@deybidee Can what work? The TN HEN-E, then yes. I suggest upgrading to it since it adds many more features. Exit HEN mode, delete the old version, run the new one and your good. Wow your on TN HEN-A... That was released nearly 6 months ago. You missed HEN-B, C, D, and E (which is the newest). When you use it go to the settings and you will see a new TN Menu he did. It looks as if Sony originally placed it there.
@deybidee It needs to be converted to EBOOT if it isn't already, then place the folder in Games of your PSP like you would the emulators.. No POPS needed. It's built in the hen already. Note that not all games will work.
@Hacx21 I don't have that one but you can try on another psp model (maybe a friend). As far as I understand, most will run but not all of them. People with the same game but different PSP models may not have any trouble. It could also be a bad Eboot or it was a bad ISO before it was converted to the Eboot. Just try whichever is easiest. Or just get the PSP ISO and play that one.
@Jamm3r498 Shut off your psp completely and it will return you to your OFW then they will work just fine. I haven't had that issue but I have read of people who did. You can still go to HEN mode whenever you like.

@MegaAvidesh It does run plugins. In HEN-E he included a TN menu in settings where you can turn on and off your plugins also. And yes, shut of your psp completely and it will return to OFW. That's why it's called a HEN and not CFW. It's a HomeBrew Enabler. It won't void your warranties or anything either since it's easily removable.
@LGCgaming Nope. Just 6.20 OFW. Also this is fully reversible by shutting off your PSP (exits HEN Mode that way) and then remove all the files from the memory stick.
@LGCgaming Technically there isn't a CFW for newer PSP's. Its what they are calling a Light CFW since it is temporary until you shut your PSP off completely. There are patches to keep it permanent but some say it's too risky of bricking and others not. It only takes 15 seconds to execute the HEN so I say just leave the patches out of it and put your PSP on standby. This is the closest your gonna get to a real CFW for now. It does everything CFW does anyways.
@Optimus34Reim Emulators, Prometheus and HEN go in Games folder. Create ISO folder in Memory Stick>ISO (goes here). Place ISO games in it. Run HEN from games to get you in HEN mode for this to all work. Run Prometheus from games and select an ISO game from the list. Or when in HEN mode, just select an emulator to play. It's really simple. I believe I made instructions in the download.
@getale Hit the home button (the one with the playstation logo) and you will get the option to Pause the game your in. When you use the pause it will save your spot exactly where you left off. What I like is you can pause it and shut down your psp. Then you will be back in HEN mode when you resume the game without having to reload the HEN. Provided you were in HEN mode when you paused it that is.
@zelda42293 That depends when you bought it. Mine had 6.10 not long after launch. Your best bet for that is Ebay so you can ask the seller, or a pawn shop where you can just check for yourself the firmware.
@jlo138 I plan on buying one online this evening (5-3-11) from Walmart.com. Wikipedia states that as of November 24, 2010, Version 6.20 is the latest pre-installed firmware on any PSP, 6.20 was released a year earlier, on November 18, 2009. Does it seem likely 6.20 firmware is pre-installed?
@zelda42293 To be honest I couldn't tell you. What I do know is that my friends both bought a model 3000 nearly a year ago and they both had 6.10. Also Sony already has 6.38 update available but I don't know how far ahead the update is compared to the pre-installed ofw in their psp's. Your best bet is to be able to check the ofw yourself, like in a pawn shop or even a used game store. They wouldn't know what your doing. Just testing it... Lol
@jlo138 My friend bought a PSP from gamestop about a week ago, and he had an update avalible for the PSP. So I don't think it comes with the full latest firmware. If my PSP Go comes with 6.31 or 6.35, I will most likely downgrade it to 6.20. Thanks for the help.

@Blade6455 Only if you have 6.20 so you can use TN HEN. I know 6.35 works but it's slightly different though it does much of the same things and it's not with TN HEN. Your best bet is to get a used one so you can see what firmware is already on it. Then you can update (but not with Sony) if necessary. I recommend using 6.20 TN HEN. So far I get around 99% ISO/CSO compatibility on my Go 6.20.
@Andrewdonut22 And Fileserve. Megaupload is better for me though. Fileserve isn't too bad but has more limitations on free users. My DL can get up to 3 times faster on MU even as a free user than compared to FS.
@xrecruit You must create an ISO folder also in the M2 AND you must have the Prometheus Loader in the M2 Games folder as well. Then you use the loader in which you wish to load the games from.

@baagii52 Yes. To play without you need to convert them with the included tool for dridri's open idea loader. It's not very good at the moment though so I would suggest you use prometheus to save you some hassle.
@baagii52 You don't need Patapon 2 that's why I don't have it included in my link anymore. All you need is the TN HEN-D to run this. Place the TN_HEN folder in Games. Click on it and it will put you in HEN mode. Press select to verify as you will get a VSH Menu to show you are in HEN mode. The Patapon method for this is outdated. I mentioned that in the description and in the video. You must be on 6.20 ofw for this to work or you will get the corrupted message. Or you didn't do it right.

@footiefanlwk You need one with 6.20 ofw for the best results in my opinion. There are similar methods for up to 6.36 but if I'm not mistaken, it's only from 6.35 and below (down to 6.20) that you can run ISO/CSO's on. You won't need to install anything for the ISO/CSO, just place the LOADER in GAMES of your PSP and create a "ISO" folder (in all caps) in the root of your memory stick. Not mp_root, but Memory Stick>ISO. Visit wololo(dot)net in the forums, they've answered more than I know.
@CannibalDethBear Link in the description. I included DriDri's and Prometheus ISO Loaders. Below the video click on 'show more'. Create an ISO folder (in all caps) in the root of your memory stick and both internal and M2 for PSP Go if you want to load from M2 also. Not the mp_root folder. Memory Stick>ISO folder. That is for Prometheus (more compatibility for now). I recommend using that one.

@darkscilence It's another option ONLY if you want your games to appear under Games section of your psp. Otherwise stick with Prometheus ISO loader and you will use the list it give you to select a game from. Those were the directions to use dridris loader if you wanted it that way. Less compatibility though.

Two quick questions.
1. Can you do this on a PSP-2001 model?
2. If so, can you downgrade from 6.38 OFW to 6.20 OFW and do it?

@bobbysteve15 Yes. This works on ALL psp models with 6.20 ofw. There are exploits similar to this called Pro. But its for 6.31, 35, 38 and 39 ofw. There is a hen also for 6.39 but I don't know if they ported the ISO loaders to it yet. Which is better? I haven't tried Pro because the TN hen works so well for me. Plus I didn't want to update. And yes you can downgrade to 6.20 and then use hen. I suggest hen, some prefer pro. Visit wololo(dot)net forums for opinions.

@aishiteruxxi IDK. I don't use psn from my psp, I use media go. I don't play online. Not sure if you should go online anyways when in hen mode. They might be able to detect it. But I really don't know.

@OldClassicGamer you don't need hbl for this. It doesn't run psx eboots either. The hen is easier to enable and has more features to offer. Plus you don't need patapon to run it.

@thisismyname1231 Actually, you're in luck. Developer "Some1" released a downgrader a few days ago that 6.38 and 6.39 users can downgrade any PSP Model to 6.20 for the TN HEN. I don't have it linked nor the know how so visit ---> Wololo(dot)net and there is a link for it and people who can help you if you can't figure it out. Wololo has a Youtube video of him actually using it. Let me send it to ya...

@deybidee Can what work? The TN HEN-E, then yes. I suggest upgrading to it since it adds many more features. Exit HEN mode, delete the old version, run the new one and your good. Wow your on TN HEN-A... That was released nearly 6 months ago. You missed HEN-B, C, D, and E (which is the newest). When you use it go to the settings and you will see a new TN Menu he did. It looks as if Sony originally placed it there.

@deybidee It needs to be converted to EBOOT if it isn't already, then place the folder in Games of your PSP like you would the emulators.. No POPS needed. It's built in the hen already. Note that not all games will work.

@Hacx21 I don't have that one but you can try on another psp model (maybe a friend). As far as I understand, most will run but not all of them. People with the same game but different PSP models may not have any trouble. It could also be a bad Eboot or it was a bad ISO before it was converted to the Eboot. Just try whichever is easiest. Or just get the PSP ISO and play that one.

@Jamm3r498 Shut off your psp completely and it will return you to your OFW then they will work just fine. I haven't had that issue but I have read of people who did. You can still go to HEN mode whenever you like.

@MegaAvidesh It does run plugins. In HEN-E he included a TN menu in settings where you can turn on and off your plugins also. And yes, shut of your psp completely and it will return to OFW. That's why it's called a HEN and not CFW. It's a HomeBrew Enabler. It won't void your warranties or anything either since it's easily removable.

@LGCgaming Technically there isn't a CFW for newer PSP's. Its what they are calling a Light CFW since it is temporary until you shut your PSP off completely. There are patches to keep it permanent but some say it's too risky of bricking and others not. It only takes 15 seconds to execute the HEN so I say just leave the patches out of it and put your PSP on standby. This is the closest your gonna get to a real CFW for now. It does everything CFW does anyways.

@Optimus34Reim Emulators, Prometheus and HEN go in Games folder. Create ISO folder in Memory Stick>ISO (goes here). Place ISO games in it. Run HEN from games to get you in HEN mode for this to all work. Run Prometheus from games and select an ISO game from the list. Or when in HEN mode, just select an emulator to play. It's really simple. I believe I made instructions in the download.

@getale Hit the home button (the one with the playstation logo) and you will get the option to Pause the game your in. When you use the pause it will save your spot exactly where you left off. What I like is you can pause it and shut down your psp. Then you will be back in HEN mode when you resume the game without having to reload the HEN. Provided you were in HEN mode when you paused it that is.

@zelda42293 That depends when you bought it. Mine had 6.10 not long after launch. Your best bet for that is Ebay so you can ask the seller, or a pawn shop where you can just check for yourself the firmware.

@jlo138 I plan on buying one online this evening (5-3-11) from Walmart.com. Wikipedia states that as of November 24, 2010, Version 6.20 is the latest pre-installed firmware on any PSP, 6.20 was released a year earlier, on November 18, 2009. Does it seem likely 6.20 firmware is pre-installed?

@zelda42293 To be honest I couldn't tell you. What I do know is that my friends both bought a model 3000 nearly a year ago and they both had 6.10. Also Sony already has 6.38 update available but I don't know how far ahead the update is compared to the pre-installed ofw in their psp's. Your best bet is to be able to check the ofw yourself, like in a pawn shop or even a used game store. They wouldn't know what your doing. Just testing it... Lol

@jlo138 My friend bought a PSP from gamestop about a week ago, and he had an update avalible for the PSP. So I don't think it comes with the full latest firmware. If my PSP Go comes with 6.31 or 6.35, I will most likely downgrade it to 6.20. Thanks for the help.

@Blade6455 Only if you have 6.20 so you can use TN HEN. I know 6.35 works but it's slightly different though it does much of the same things and it's not with TN HEN. Your best bet is to get a used one so you can see what firmware is already on it. Then you can update (but not with Sony) if necessary. I recommend using 6.20 TN HEN. So far I get around 99% ISO/CSO compatibility on my Go 6.20.

@xrecruit You must create an ISO folder also in the M2 AND you must have the Prometheus Loader in the M2 Games folder as well. Then you use the loader in which you wish to load the games from.

@baagii52 Yes. To play without you need to convert them with the included tool for dridri's open idea loader. It's not very good at the moment though so I would suggest you use prometheus to save you some hassle.

@baagii52 You don't need Patapon 2 that's why I don't have it included in my link anymore. All you need is the TN HEN-D to run this. Place the TN_HEN folder in Games. Click on it and it will put you in HEN mode. Press select to verify as you will get a VSH Menu to show you are in HEN mode. The Patapon method for this is outdated. I mentioned that in the description and in the video. You must be on 6.20 ofw for this to work or you will get the corrupted message. Or you didn't do it right.

@footiefanlwk You need one with 6.20 ofw for the best results in my opinion. There are similar methods for up to 6.36 but if I'm not mistaken, it's only from 6.35 and below (down to 6.20) that you can run ISO/CSO's on. You won't need to install anything for the ISO/CSO, just place the LOADER in GAMES of your PSP and create a "ISO" folder (in all caps) in the root of your memory stick. Not mp_root, but Memory Stick>ISO. Visit wololo(dot)net in the forums, they've answered more than I know.

@CannibalDethBear Link in the description. I included DriDri's and Prometheus ISO Loaders. Below the video click on 'show more'. Create an ISO folder (in all caps) in the root of your memory stick and both internal and M2 for PSP Go if you want to load from M2 also. Not the mp_root folder. Memory Stick>ISO folder. That is for Prometheus (more compatibility for now). I recommend using that one.
