  • The anti-war movement has been largely demoralised and defeated... its was up against the ruling classes and puppet governments of the coalition of the willing though. Try and find video footage of these demos. They used to be everywhere: now they've vanished? Hardly, the moneyed pro-war movement has simply won by virtue of their control of capital and an already imperialsit status quo etc. The war was and still is wrong: entirely: and most people still believe that.

    Obama=Bush+apology

  • Well...Obama just sent 17,000 more US troops to AFGAN. Hmmm no war protesters anymore? Interesting....

  • Heh well

if 50 million people protested it against in 2003

    obviously is there any point?

the fascist USA will not stop the invasion and killings in middle- east.

That just shows theres no democracy in this world..

  • THey protested against bush. Not the war.

  • @KangarooBoo08

Haha first 2 seconds i see atleast 3 billboards with "Stop the war"

what are you talking about? :D

  • If they really were protesting against the war then we should have seen this all over again when Obama said he is sending 17,000 more troops to Afgan. But i guess since its the great obama doing it, then its fine with all these past protesters. LOL Coin is twisted. That's why I say they were protesting against Bush, using the war as an excuse.

  • @KangarooBoo08

If i recall it right there has been anti war protest when Obama got presidency aswell...

  • wow people certainly thought this was a bad idea didnt they?

the point was to make a change, but it was also to show how many people are against this war.

no one expected them to do anything. they were voicing their opinions.

  • next time have a violent uprising, sorry to admit it but 20 million militant protesters around the world would have kept this from happening. do you think bush and his minions would look outside say "oh no, a hippie with a drum, lets change our original plan"

  • no but it certainly shows just how many people hate "bush and his minions" and this fucking stupid war they started.

And a violent uprising wouldnt do much better. they would sit in their plushy chairs and look out the window going "oh look at that idiot...he just trashed a store, HE'S going to jail"

    nice plan... :/

  • february 15th 2003, 2 million london, 2 million rome, 35 million worldwide, protests in every major population centre on the face of the globe, ramallah, tel aviv, cape town, sidney... even the 10 scientists on the polar ice cap research station came out and laid an anti war banner on the ice that day

  • Wow, this really made a difference!

Let's protest some more because this was so effective!

  • proof we've been against this since the beginning. Anyone who every thought this was a good idea has their head up their butt.
