To everyone in the UK- the US are much hotter on taffy than us; the closest thing I could find is 'chewitts', although they are softer than taffy. Apart from that the texture us similar. The flavour range isn't as wide either, but what can I say; we have Marmite :)

You gotta have it fresh, and then it's like -- warms to the temperature of your mouth fast, like it's about to melt, but it doesn't melt, you have to chew it, but it slowly dissolves as you do, so it's like gum which is always even textured, and pure flavor.

As for the flavor itself, it's bright and fresh, a bit waxy, and a whole lot more subtle than regular candy. Best part is the texture though
