You mentioned that it could fly really low without a problem, but seeing it in action really drives that home. Some beautiful terrain out there too.
There really is something strange and beautiful and ahead-of-its-time about that machine. It would be great to see more of these flying.
I crewed this aircraft in Vietnam in 1970. We had a friend go down one night and we waited all night for word. They were spotted the next morning and told haw they slipped past VC to get back. Spent 16 months there on the Bird Dog and the YO-3A. We may have known one another. Lots of memories when I found this. I am at twitter as heylanny.
