Not sure about this. The girl looks like a samba dancer trying to dance tango. She's too loose and messy, and she keeps doing those silly gestures with her hand. Also, her dress looks like it's about to fall off her at any moment. Very distracting.

@Sambucca the "girl" is Geraldine Rojas if Argentine tango, world class tangueara, probably the best ( there is no best in argentine tango as it is implementation of music and mood) and her partner here is her 10+ years partner together they created miracles... pls be more knowledgable before you criticize. thank you

I know what makes a good tango and this ain't it. You should look up Miriam Larici and her partners Hugo Patyn and Leonardo Barrinouevo for a lesson in sensational show tango. Puts these jokers to shame.

@Sambucca JOKERS !!!! there is no right or wrong in tango, they interpreted this music this way and I totally loved it along with many other tangueras and tangueros... these "jokers" 's improvisations are recognized and applauded almost all over the world. at the other hand I have never heard those names you mentioned in 5 yrs... I will try them and I promise I will not CALL THEM NAMES!!!!

Miriam Larici and Leonardo were part of the original cast for the Broadway sensation "Forever Tango". Miriam played the lead role. Since then they have represented Argentina in the TV show "Superstars of Dance" and won, have choreographed numerous tangos for the even more popular "So You Think You Can Dance" ontop of winning World tango escenario championships. They are probably the most famous tango dancer sin the world right now.

They might be the best on whatever, to me, they have no soul. They are excellent tango dancing robots. I have to see the incredible sensitive connection.Geraldine and Xavier had that. I can see the melody and feelings that made that melody when they dance. You dont. That is fine. YET, calling dancers names has NO PLACE in tango world. No shame on "jokers" ,shame on you. Now I know you're talking bullshit, because Miriam is one of the most expressive tango dancers I've ever seen, and I've seen MANY. Her movement is controlled and musical, you can see every muscle in her body working. Her partner work with Leo and Hugo is both romantically passionate and physically dynamic.

In THIS video, Geraldine looks like she's dancing a weird hybrid of tango and ballroom salsa, and the dress is horribly distracting, no question.

how one cannot feel the blinding passion and breath stopping electric these two have, tango is just bringing it out, because they allow themselves to be exposed thru tango.. nothing else other than tango in this world could help them to be "Geraldine and Xavier" this way.. lucky them and lucky us to be able to watch them..
