This is a St Louis Jimmy tune and Ray gives his all as ever, young Billy Preston spotted on the organ but the annoying French camera guys want to have fun with images instead of liosteneing som we lost a lot of Ray's finger work. Try to get the audio version of this tune on Ray's album from 1965 called CRYIN' TIME. It will chill you to the bone even more.
Rays voice warms my heart his smile melts my soul.. His music takes the edge off all my bad days... If I had to pick a favorite song it would be "A Tear Fell" take a listen..........
@Zerrick80 You're right. He schools the guitar player hard. He quickly obeys and starts picking louder. I've never heard Ray cover this song. Until this moment Howlin' Wolf's was my favorite version. No longer. No longer.
2:15 - Ray told the guitar player "Play it son let me hear it!" lol then when he realized he still wasnt playing loud enough he yelled at him "I CANT HEAR IT! LET ME HEAR IT!" Thats why I love Ray's live performances. so soulful and real

@spindip32
i dont think he was schooling him. the guitar player was being respectful of ray and playing quiet and ray encouraged him to let it out haha
