  • what wattage were your lights? i'm stealth growing using a small 4 foot christmas tree box and 2 75 watt cfls and then lined the box with aluminum foil for fire prevention and reflection. Any tips?

  • Opiates are natural in the form of opium. Witch is very weak compared to say morphine which is a processed drug. Also Opium is a true narcotic and IS addicting unlike cannabis! BTW nice grow being you had your cfl's set up like that. What strain is that? I'm very surprised that enough light got through the canopy and stayed healthy. Has to be a killer strain, or you git lucky with bag seed. 2 150 watt hps woulda pushed massive weight on that grow. Great job man

  • LoL, 28 weeks ? That's 7 months man that's over double the time it should have taken you even growing from seed with normal lights.

  • my whole i would get a sever migraine once per week, i would have sever pain and Nassau, with stroke like symptoms. this lasted up to 8 hours. My life totally changed however when i started smoking weed. i found i would only get a migraine 1-2 times per year. say what you want but that is a medical fact. i wish i never took any of the synthetic stuff, every time i took it i felt worse anyway, finally said enough and moved to a state that supported medicinal marijuana so i could be cured legally

  • @ch4nc3who might as well be placebo. There is no scientific reason for cannabis to help with migraine. Come cannabioids have pain relieving abilities but they dont cure anything, just numb the pain (like any other painkiller).

Its fact that cannabis has NO unique or notably effective medical properties. Get off the pothead BS and face reality.

  • @Buuub08 Can you present ANY scientific data supporting your obvious conjecture?

  • @Buuub08 It does have pain-killing qualities, and it does it without making you physically addicted to a dangerous opiate. Without enlarging your heart from taking painkillers (My grand mother died from this, yes, opiates can enlarge your heart in long term use)

  • @apk878 Comparing cannabioids to opiates in terms of pain killing qualities is absolutely idiotic to put it mildly. Also remember that opiates are just as natural as cannabioids.

Cannabioid analgesic abilities are comparable to your typical paracetamol pills at best, neither will help with pain where opiates are necessary.

  • @Buuub08 Not really idiotic at all, opiates are for severe pain, but marijuana helps just as well for chronic pain, back pain, MS, arthritis, etc because it also has anti-inflammatory properties, without the negative health effects and addiction that opiates have.

  • @apk878 Cannabioids have only mild analgesic properties comparable to regular painkillers like paracetamol or aspirin. They are NOT comparable to opiates in any way. Does comparing Aspirin to Morphine sound smart to you? Seriously?

  • @Buuub08 Also, Opiates are nowhere near as natural, they have to be heavily processed to be used unless you are using raw opium. Also, it is more dangerous to the body and mind than marijuana, a lot of things are natural and can kill you.

Marijuana can be smoked right off the plant, no processing needed.

  • @apk878 Opiates are EVERY BIT as natural as Cannabioids. Nothing has to be processed to get opiates. Morphine, for instance, is the main ingredient in raw opium resin.

"a lot of things are natural and can kill you" AMEN brother!

Marijuana is the plant not something off it. Something off it are cannabioids, primarily THC, and yes - it has to be processed as THC in its NATURAL carboxylic form is NOT psychoactive.

    Learn something for fucks sake.

  • i recently became authorized to cultivate and i searched around alot before deciding CFL where the most economical way to go about growing my medicine, so far im 2 weeks in and from pictures of other plants at this age mine is thriving. its in soil, i have dwc system im not using tho because i cant afford the nutrients.

  • pretty cool what old school folks can come up with. Nice, healthy medicine, Johnny. Blessings in your fight with lymphoma, I know how hard it is. Keep ramping up on the oil, it is the key. I had necrosis (liver), Parkinson's disease, 90 days of treatment and I was out of the wheelchair-doing things I thought were long gone. Keep up the fight and never give up. Bless you...

  • You know that cannabis doesnt actually cure anything, right?

  • @Buuub08 its a suppressant, but it does encourage brain cell growth.

  • @ch4nc3who You are highly over stretching the reality. In fact it IMPAIRS brain function, specifically logic and short term memory.

A SYNTHETIC cannabioid caused increased brain function in the hippocampus of rats, which only suggests that in theory it can be used to treat depression and anxiety. How that transfers on to humans or even if it does at all is unknown. This SYNTHETIC cannabioid is NOT present in natural cannabis though, no natural cannabioids have shown similar effects.

  • @Buuub08 while im not saying you are wrong you have the wrong impression on the impairment, marijuana matches up with many CB receptors in the body including those found where your short term memory takes place in your brain. When it bonds to the CB receptors in the short term memory part of your brain it clogs them, doesn't kill them there are just less active, eventually when marijuana is out of your system your brain will return to homeostasis.

  • @ch4nc3who What you just described matches every drug there has ever been.

The proportions vary from strain to strain and even within one strain depending on many factors. SYNTHETIC means its NOT naturally present, there are tons of such compounds (many included is shit like Spice), most synthetic cannabioids can be hundreds of times as potent as THC. My source is the original article.

  • @Buuub08 "most synthetic cannabioids can be hundreds of times as potent as THC." only because certain cannabinoids can be singled out and concentrated while the natural thing is just that a bunch of cannabinoids, many matching to different CB receptors providing different effects but not concentrated to a specific receptor like we can do with synthetic compounds. to say that's reason for the natural thing not having healing qualities is absurd.

  • @Buuub08 There are many different strains of medicinal sensimilla, each strain offers a unique set of cannabinoids. and synthetic cannabinoids only offer a small selection compared to what nature offers. whatever your source is i highly doubt they tested more then 5 strains looking to see if nature has what they created in a lab.

  • @Buuub08 many strains also promote creative thinking, and promote a more logical thought process. its also true some strains will make you silly and giggly and very lazy. but the medicinal community does offer strains that give you energy.

  • @ch4nc3who All drugs give an impression of creativity and "opening your mind" kind of thing.

No drug gives energy. The most a drug can do is act as a trigger for your body to release its energy and boost metabolism, kinda what caffeine or your own adrenaline does. Medical strains are typically high in cannabidiol which gives it pain relieving and sedating effects and in some ways it contradicts with THC induced effects.

  • Cannabis has no medically unique or notably effective characteristics. The advantage it holds though is the lack of any potentially harmful side effects as opposed to synthetic medicine that can be far more effective but holds the risk of nausea or allergic reactions other than those caused by inhaling smoke. For this reason Dorabinol was made - THC in pills.

  • Comment removed

  • @Buuub08 "Cannabis has no medically unique or notably effective characteristics." LIE.

  • @Buuub08 "No drug gives energy." LIE.

  • @ch4nc3who Drugs dont give energy, they have NO energy value. They release YOUR OWN energy reserves and boost metabolism (caffeine, amphetamine etc).

There are only TWO CB receptors, CB1 and CB2. THC primary works on CB1.

Synthetic ones arent potent because they are singled out but because they are SYNTHETIC - They DO NOT EXIST in nature, just like Heroin and LSD.

You desperately need education my friend, you even fail 5th grade subjects. Thats just sad.

  • LOL THE AD WAS A REHAB CLINIC

  • What size is your box?

  • I have a sunleaves T5 eight bulb 4 foot light and a 125 watt cfl red spec. for flowering and i also have 8 bulbs red bulbs for the T5 also should this be ample light for three plants in a small closet? i need the biggest yeild possible any tips would help i have fox farms soil and advanced nutes jungle juice. Growing 1 van. kush one tangerine dream and 1 pineapple chunk help its my first grow

  • J.A.W., You've inspired me to start my self taught horticulture. What type of grow medium were you using? Also, what feed schedule were you on? Thx~

  • @MrMoneymike4life I found that the ORGANIC POTTING SOIL from Tiger Growth found at LOWES is a decent product and it's about $6.00 for a 3cuft bag, just add a couple handfuls of perlite (it has quite a bit to start with)

and enrich it with your choice of BLACK COW chicken manure or mushroom compost.(about a handful per pot)

I use a shallow storage container(on wheels for under the bed) to contain the 3gal bags. I use 3/4" of LAVA rock in the bottom of the bags and top off with the soil mixture.

  • @MrMoneymike4life I used simple SCHULTZ liquid house plant food (10-10-10) for veg feeding 1 time a week and watering in between. I would give the blooming plants 16oz of nutes(orchid bloom at 2/3 strength) through the top and then I would fill the container tub with 1" of solution, they will draw up what they need within 6 hrs it's dry again

  • Wow that's impressive. How did you manage the lighting? I mean light periods for veg and flower? I'm eager to try a box very similar to yours. Great job!

  • @eltotoX I've used 24-20-18hr light cycles for veg and I guess they did preform a little better with a rest from the lights. But for bloom I use a gradual method, I start with 12hs for 8wks and reduce to 10hrs for 4wks and then I flush them thoroughly and reduce for the last 2 weeks to 9hrs.

  • right on dude i've seen commercial grow rooms now with T5 red, blue and full spectrum lighting, plus i've seen CFL bulbs make sweet buds which i've smoked.the big long bulbs the T5 set ups are bad ass and if you have say a 10x10x7 room and 4 T5's with 4 bulbs in each so 4 4bulb lamps will grow 30 plus plant and weight, specially if you add some side lights.Induction lights are actually the new future

  • Cfls, and t5s are the best by far, my electric bill isnt 500 bucks a month, my lights put out 62,500 lumens and im only using 525 watts. Plus the lights can be put right on top of your plants, anyone who prefers hps/mh over t5's cant do math. Here's the equation lumens divided by watt= your efficiency level. Another easy way to see they are better- compare overall life hours of bulbs/fixture to cost per unit, 300 dollars for an hps system that only lasts 2 yrs- SUCKS.

  • @bigfootchronmasta my electric bill isnt 500 bucks a month with 250w and 33000 lumens. hps last for aslong as u want them to last, its advised to change the bulb after 2 years of 24/7. 20bucks for a bulb that's gonna give you more bud(if you know how) each cycle is worth it.

  • Mr. Johnny did you get your clamp on light from lowes and did you swap out the inandesent bulbs for cfls???

  • Mr. Johnny are both your thumbs must be green???

  • I'm assuming you can lower and raise the lights above? and also, do you have any side lighting? or underneath lighting? thanks...good grow and good tunes !

  • @buffaloborn71 Exactly true, I used a pair of lighting yo-yo's to hang the light from. I used 2-10" clamp on pan lights with Y bulb adapters in them (2 bulbs per pan) clamped on to the front of the tub the plants were in.

  • My lamps are 2700k. worked?

  • I have many 20w bulbs. about 6 or 7 of warm light. work for the stage of flowering?

  • I set up a system with 4 x 23W 2700K 1600lum, 4 x 23W 3500K 1600lum, and 4 x 23W 6700K 1640lum. Doing the math, 12 cfl's, 276W, 19360lumens. Was thinking of a couple of uv's to round it out. Baking soda with a manual drip. 12 cpu fans, 4 sucking in and 8 blowing out with in-line activated charcoal pads on exhaust. 2" rigid pink lining all six sides, painted flat white.

Yes, smaller yeild but worth the savings imho.

He who says it can't be done should not interrupt he who is doing it.

  • i got about 170w of cfl light on 1 plant do u think i will get a good harvest from it bro

  • @jsantos1100 You need to get a couple of 10" clamp-on pan lights for uplighting from the bottom on each side.

Do this and you can easily get 2-3 oz per plant

  • aluminium paper absorb light.

  • i also thought 2700 was better for flowering? any ideas about that compared to 3500?

  • Stop the bullshit and get a 600 waTT HPS

  • @MrOnix9009 putting a 600 watt HPS in a small space like that would be stupid

you are thinking with the "sledgehammer to crack a walnut mentality"

he could use a 250w sodium in that space but he would still need adequate venting even 250w sodiums get very hot

if he is happy with the results and is producing enough for himself .. he has no need to use sodiums in that small space :)

  • woooo I'LLL GET 600 WATTT :pppp

  • All the people bashing CFLs are probably the 100s of people you see on here with their CFLs 2 feet away from the plant.

  • I have seen better grows in CFL than HID or HPS ! It all depends on the grower! Off course yea HID or HPS give out better light but not better lumens for growth and flowering! Too much wasted light on those bulbs!

I know cause I just grew and harvested in dry: 1.34 kilograms of Big Buddha blueberry cheese with a total of 1500 watts of CFL power! With several CO2 tanks and a determination not like any other!

As for nutrients: Superthrive, Flora Nova Bloom, and clean flush! b4 harvest!

  • I am editing my video right now and will post my results on youtube!

  • @vagisil96

HPS (High Pressure Sodium) is a type of HID (High Intensity Discharge ... lamp), they aren't different things as you say a few times :P

  • well if your cfls are so good you might well for that crappy hps light out witch you use for most of your grow you clown and all i was really sayin is that hps lights are better cock muncher peace

  • Continue to hate, the like/dislike bar look like a blunt :)

  • point taken im sure cfl grow art will be come better in time and and im sure the cfls can produce more then enough personal smoke nice vid and keep up the good work

  • im doing a cfl grow& i just bought 12 42watt cfl lights..6 are 6500kelvin and 6 are 2700kelvin & im just wondering if thats what im supposed to have or is that wrong?i read some shit about the "nm" nanometer of the light waves or sumthin so do i have to trip on that? im worried the 6500k/2700k is like the wrong spectum or sumshit cus 2700k seems to be to red or somthing..apperently plants like 400-520"nm" for blue spectrum and 610-720"nm" for red but i think 2700k may be 1000"nm" which is bad??

  • @dankdopeweed 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower. Think of it as the electro magnetic spectrum and the visible light spectrum is inserted in there as a small sliver and it goes as R.O.Y.G.B.I.V. or red, orange. yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Red wave is closer to infrared and radio and is a longer wave length and blue wave is higher up

  • @dankdopeweed the blue wave length has a higher k value even though technically it is a shorter wave length of light.. A lot of this seems counter intuitive but I was doing similar research and was looking at the cfl grow set up on various hydro store websites and they used high k bulbs for grow and low k bulbs for flower. However, all their bulbs were 105 watt.

  • @dankdopeweed I was looking at some cfl grow light systems being sold by hydro stores on the web and they were using the high k values for veg growth and the low k values for flower growth.

  • @budhunter09 thanks bro good shit!

  • point taken but hps lights are not that dear and you can get the cool tubes loook on ebay for a good price and there lot cheaper if you get second hand for them now the rest of the set up will be nearly be exactly the same and you grow faster with hps

    peace

  • hps lights are still better then cfls by far

the day you see everyone using cfls will mean there better

cfls are the same as flouerencent light they only get used for seeds and maybe a week or two growing before they get put into a grow room because flouros are shit but sayin that if you dont want good bud or a lot of bud then use a fluro

do not wast your time with fluros there shit

  • @billybogus1 You seem to forget about the expensive start up costs involved with HID/HPS lighting systems. If you want to avoid heat signature problems with LEO you need to have cooling fans & ducting etc. So it will cost around $600.00 to buy the HID/HPS lighting system. The patients I deal with weren't born with a silver spoon like you, they can barely pay the bills they have now. It is a lot less expensive to build a system like mine for less than $100.00 and still grow quality buds.

  • @jonnyappleweed420 excellent reply

but damn man 14 weeks? you need a new strain

  • @billybogus1 cfls have to be placed much closer to the plants than regular fluorescents to be effective (within 3 inches of the buds) and cannot successfully maintain a plant that is over 20 inches. I have cfl and MH grows under my belt and have had success with both. CFL grows just require a different technique and different expectations. But the CFL grow art is still in the infancy stage, but more and more people are choosing this route as evidenced by the video up loads.

  • @billybogus1 -shut up-i veg with a 300 watt cfl&flower with a 600 w hps-i pull hundreds of grams per plant per grow,so you are wrong my friend!

  • Comment removed

  • @billybogus1 cfl's offer more intense light in a smaller space than regular fluorescents

cfls can give great results with smaller well trained plants

to say cfls/ are shit is pretty ignorant, they have their place for smaller closet type grows where sodiums would cause a great deal of heat which would need to be vented which adds extra cost and makes things more complex, cfls are also cheap good for the beginner :)

  • @billybogus1 id rather go with cfl's MUCH cheaper and less Suspect

  • @billybogus1

I agree. Used cfl for years living in a small 1 br apt. cfl gave me tiny little frosty nugs just like that.

Almost was not worth it. Happen to score a nice house with basement a bought a 400w HPS

and 4 plants...........buds the size of 20oz bottles!!!!!!!!

yeild just over a QP dry in just about the same amount of space in that old apt.

  • @billybogus1

There are many situations where an HID is impractical/impossible, esp. if talking about a very small space.

Its not about the name of the lamp, but the lumens it puts out and its EM spectrum.

LED lighting is better then HID, but most people still use HID lighting, its not what 'everyones using' that matters, its what and how you want to do it, also what the funnest way to do is for you..

Your level of closed-minded pigheadedness is awesome

  • mmmm apple sauce

  • Very nice and inspiring!!

  • @ 1:20 min: MMMMMMMM applesauce ~<8^ )

  • i have a big cfl in my grow room but im not sure whether to switch to hps for flowering or save the money and weed in the mean time haha peace stay hi!

  • I have watched so many grow vids this is bye far the best one I've seen keep them coming!

  • Wouldnt a 250w hps be more effective?

  • thats not a gram per watt. The GPW Rating is based on the amount of kilowatt hours used to produce one gram. This factors in how long your strains flower and the resulting number makes it simple to compare 4000 watt gardens with 400 watt gardens. The calculations are easy, ill show you below.

  • @anthonyfilter 288 watts flower room/

    98 days in flower/

12 hour light x 0.288 wats per hour = 3.456 kwh per day

3.456 kwh per day x 98 days in flower = 338.688 kwh used

Now simply divide grams by kilowatts:

288 grams divided by 338.688 kwh used = 0.85 GPW used

also for a true GPW comparison you have to take the veg time into account as well because one garden could be in veg for weeks and the other 3 days (SOG)

your garden is 0.85 GPW without veg time which should aslo be taken into acount!

  • @anthonyfilter sorry its 290 grams not 288

    290 grams devided by 338.688 hwh used = 0.85. point 6th of a gram

  • Come share your videos on our social network designed for Marijuana! p.s I love the cfl grow very nice finished product! legaleyespot.socialgo.com

  • using a dual spectrum bulb is the way to go, no messing about when it comes to flowering, same bulb, different times is all, why fuck around with all the extra hassle when you can get easily 3oz per plant with 3 months veg time and flowering takes me 50 more days but that depends on the strain

  • the 1 gram per watt has been proven bunk many times over

  • Nice way to show your face to whichever organization is interested in people who grow cananbis.

  • johnny, I applaud your efforts. Both as a grower and in "the movement" BUT,....I'm not seeing any plants in this vid that would be even close to producing 1g/w unless you're counting the whole plant, wet.

  • HPS is still more efficient, a good grower can get 1 gram per watt per month. That's about three times what you got.

  • what a joke

  • i use cfls and this is a joke

  • noon sun no clouds is the best light available from nature. the highest lumen output from a lamp though as measured VEL comes from full spectrum induction lamps. alot like sunlight . If you haven't heard of them theres a you tube video or go to the inda-gro website and check out the user submitted photos. We like the yields of 400 grams p/meter, penetration is around 24", very little heat off the lamps, and full spectrum peaking at 350 and 650 NM. peace

  • the reason i'm posting is becasue most people have never heard of these lamps. so when you're, like us, doing closet or tent grows you will simply not find a full spectrum lamp like what you see under induction lamps. if you've never tried them ck out the you tube video by inda gro or better yet the user submitted photos on their website. we use only the 100 watters in the tents from prop to bud.

  • how long do u veg for.

  • thats looks great , what kind of nutrients are you using if any! i have a little project i started 14 days ago i have 1 chemdog 2 popcorn 2/ 40watts longsrip and/3/ 55/watts 2700k, one for eachplant is this good, thanks man happysmoking:):)

  • @rockondon it says 28 weeks right there on the video

  • @rockondon good work, but 28 weeks is a long ass time to wait

i didnt think a plant grew for 28 weeks on flower, well obv thats with veg aswell

how long do u flower for

  • 28 weeks damn.. thats a long indoor grow.. then again these are big plants and cfl takes kinda long. im having good success on my first grow here with cfls.. but u really do need a lot of them... low wattage wont get very big buds... as shown here.. 12-24 watt bulbs.. thats a lot

  • Nice grow, bloody slow though. In a cupboard not much bigger than yours with 1600W of HPS I pull 1500 grams every 9 weeks. I have a separate veg box but that is only about 2 square feet... I don't think I'll be switching to CFL's somehow

  • What's wrong with Johnny Potseed? Johnny Appleweed makes much less sense....

  • It took you seven months to harvest wow thats a long ass time bro.

  • Just curious. But could you use 12 Soft White 60-Watt CFL's with 2700k?

  • your not telling somebody who dosnt know anything about growing anything helpful...on to the next one....

  • so much for the how to part...

  • @murdavalley209 you should have one blowing air straight in at the bottom and one straight out at the top remember heat rises and thats what your trying to get rid of

  • apple sauce jars :P

  • how substantial of a spike in power usage do cfls show? i do own 2 lighting systems a 600w halide & a 400w hps that was left with me after my stepdad passed. I am reluctant to crank them up for fear of detection.

  • tiny nugs but im impressed how well the cfl's worked. i always wanted to try using cfl's but putting them on the sides and bottom as well.

  • could have got 10 grams from two plants with side lighting, and massive buds, nice job though

  • Nice tunes

    AND NICE WEEEEEEEEED

  • go for it and let me know how you like it. In order to get production you have to supercrop your plants forcing all the bud growth to the top of the plant CFL's don't penetrate but about 3"-4" into the canopy of the plant where as HIDS go 6"-10" into it . But you can compensate some of that by being able to put the CFL's closer to your plants. keep them at least 2" away (with fans blowing upwards into lights)

  • incandescents are not good for growing they are not efficient and create too much heat to be of any use.

  • @jonnyappleweed420 : the major reason being they produce the wrong light spectrum, especially the Far Red spectrum causing abnormally fast stem and fiber growth

  • 14 weeks?

  • yep she's a true sativa, normally a 10-12 week strain but CFL's add a little more time to the grow time 10%-15% they do work well but they have their limitations.

  • too many assholes keep saying stop using cfl,s you amature and get a hps this really annoys me as chances are they don,t or have never grown weed, cfl,s produce a smaller yeild but don,t need half as much maintainence and don,t blow half as often costing u 3 times or more to replace the bulb and won,t burn down your house, and i thought all tokers are the nicest people but clearly there are tokers out there giving nice nice guys like us a bad name, good work i,m a jonnyappleweed

  • @johntumbleweed

i def agree with jonnyappleweed420 and you as well. people just dont get that not everyone has the cash to go pro, so we try to grow with whatever we can afford. but yet people still dont understand..thumbs up

  • i just bought cfls for my shit

  • @ rock, I do use the 68 = to 300 on the tops of each. I pretty much do what you said, except I add more light to it. 30,000 lumen of CFL is a lot of lights. it does the job cheaper and safer, once I get some more room I would like to do 20x 20 HID, but for now, this gives me some real good smoke and the yeild is much netter than most cfl grows I have seen

  • GREAT JOB BRO! When i grow usually 3 indica Hash plants that maybe get 18 inches tall but 3 ft wide plus. I was wodering 2 things. Would it be easier and cheaper for you to go with HID's? For 3 plants I will use around 30,000 lumens at 2700k. My strain only veges 1 week! shit grows fast and fat. I got lucky and I still have to use LOTS of lights. How big of a space are you in and whats your total lumens? THAT IS THE BEST CFL GROW I HAVE SEEN!

  • wal mart sells mylar in the camping dept.

  • awesome mask lol

  • wich ratio was yours nutrients can u tell that? i got for growth NPk 2.1 : 1.2 : 2.1 and for bloom NPK 1.8 :2.4 : 2.6 is it good? i was using plagron wich was on growth 20-20-16 and for bloom 10-20-24 sorry if is diferent kind of percentage but i still learning i had good results with plagron but not the best and im looking foward to have better crops! thanks and regards

  • I do I use an equal mix of 3500K and 6500K at 24-26watts each(100W rating)

I use all 6500K for VEG. & after several experiments I came to discover the best production was with the mix. Plants are normally getting around 4200K from the noon sun in Sept/Oct. and this is harvest time.

  • Comment removed

  • Your just jealous, you probably spent hundreds of dollars on some fancy lighting system. Maybe before we speak we should research what it is we are speaking of, I've been growing with this style lighting for a few years and it is a proven producer. I've set it up for others and they are all getting 2+ Ozs per plant. Count the jars each one holds an OZ,sorry by the time pics was taken I had already smoked over 1 already.

    I SPEAK ONLY THE TRUTH,

    I DON'T NEED TO LIE!!!

I HAVE PICS THAT PROVE IT!!

  • Great job on everything... Growing cloning flowering...... but what's with the applesuace curing jars..... haha.. great job anyways.. ! =)

  • Now you know the secret to jonny's appleweed

    LOL

  • Long live jonnyappleweed. May he rest in peace.

  • holy shit 28 weeks, im pretty sure anyone could grow and gram per watt in 7 months shit

  • awesome thanx man that helped heaps!! ive got some perchasing to do...

  • with the cfl's whats all this 3500k, 2700k, 1600k im hearing about.. what do you need to flower? i heard just a 62 watt 2700k for one plant???? or is it the higher the "K" the better the flower??

  • K refers to Kelvins. It's a way of measuring the color of the light spectrum. 6,500K is the blue-ish end and is better for growing the plants. 2,700K is the red-orange end and is best for flowering :)

  • @Robstailey its probly a mainly sativa strain explaining why he was in flower for 14 weeks, and hes only got 288 watts. you cant make that yeild 2 oz a plant if you where god.

  • wait...14 weeks of flowering? What strain are you growing? thats a really long time for less than 2 oz per plant.

  • yes those king of cfl grow slow

  • thats fantastic man

  • johnny weedseed has abetter ring to it imo

  • NO MAN, I AM THE REAL JONNYAPPLEWEED! lol!!!

  • That's the SPIRIT,

Hey everybody show us your jonnyappleweed too.

  • I've answered this already,

It didn't come from Mexico and it's definitely not Schwag. It's from a high end Mid-Grade strain.

You can take a Mid- Grade strain and if grown correctly it can become just as potent as a High Grade strain

  • hey i'm jonnyappleweed too.

  • A strain I've developed from Frozen bagseed,

this has been in suspended animation for over 2 years. It's a Red hair Sativa of that i'm sure. These buds are fuzzy and full of resins. an excellent strain for Vaporizing or for producing Oil with.

When smoked in a bowl/papers the resins just gum them up...

  • 14 week bloom?

  • True, this strain would normally be a 12 week bloomer, but using CFL's adds about 2 weeks to the cycle...

  • Oh I see. I like how you jam pack your room with plants and hardly any wasted light. Best way to use cfl's in my opinion.

  • YES,

SEA-OF-GREEN(SOG) is the best way to grow using CFL's, this method forces all the growth towards the top,and concentrates it in those few inches of light penetration.

  • crazy dude wtf 28 weeks ?

  • I never said it was easy, just that it can be done...

CFL's don't penetrate the foliage but a few inches.

that makes each cycle take about 2 weeks longer .

Ms. Goodbud is a true Sativa at 12/12 cycles, outdoors or under HID lights...
