I'd prefer it if when the song ends, they'd stop. The everlong reprise thing is a bit annoying & wearing on a body. And then after all that, it gets cut off at the end (like it was at the beginning) and you don't get to hear the audience's appreciation. Not happy with this vid, sry.

Take 6 are from Oakwood University, aka Oakwood College. A college ive been connected since birth basically, my mom is a prefessor there and i am a student at the highschool. My mom went to school with them all, she remembers them announcing in class that they won their first grammy, i believe. I saw 3 of them sing couple months ago at a funeral at their home church Oakwood College.

Its not wierd seeing them, but it is wierd seeing how much people outside of huntsville, AL know of them.

The key change down twice at the end was what made me poop my pants! My sister lived in Huntsville (where I believe they're from) and gave me their first album, the year it came out. I was working on my music degree in Jacksonville (a small college town also in Alabama) at the time and couldn't listen to it enough times! Incredible!

Love these guys. While working on my degree in music,one of my professors cited this group as a great example of singing w/ perfect pitch while maintaining complex harmonies. They are all that & more - excellent,beautiful.

If you don't understand that this is the best acapella group that's ever sung together, then you know nothing about music. The tightness of harmony and complex chords put them head and shoulders above anyone else. That's not even mentioning the incredible key changes and tempo swings that they perform with almost no effort whatsoever. If you don't get all that, then you've obviously never tried to sing acapella music. These guys are the end-all be-all to this genre of music.

Ok so you don't like religious based music. But as a singer, singing is hard. Singing acapella is harder. Singing in a group acapella is even harder. Singing 6 part harmony with jazz chords is super hard. Takes a good skill to do that. And these guys can and do it very well.

OH THANK YOU SO MUCH, ANT!!!! Everytime I hear this version of "Mary Don't You Weep", it does something to me! I haven't heard them sing it since Mervyn left, but I would love to hear it live again!
