  • But I thought OGFurious said Japanese use grenades to put out fire :P

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!

  • All I caught was "ammonia gas"

  • Fire Ninjas!

  • Notice they do not use this material in a fire that is outside in the open. It only works in aconfined area where it can remove the oxygen inside the container. A flash bang stun grenade would have just about the same results. Remove one of the three needed elements in a fire and it goes out. Remember fuel, heat, oxygen no big deal.

  • it must be a chemical that produces massive amounts of carbon^2 dioxide when burned denser carbon dioxide doesnt rise and will extingush flame

  • wtf gimme .

  • what sorcery is this!?

  • actually this thing is amazing..it should be using by fireman today

  • JARATE!!!!

  • I think that bomb extinguisher have chuck norris pee

  • the new pokemon ball!!!!

  • Weird things in japan.

  • O_O what the fuck is that?!?!?!

  • how the fuck does this works ???

  • @ezekyew im pretty sure its just a liquid that expands in the open, extingushing the fire, so my question would be WHAT is that thing? :D

  • Nothing new here, people. My dad had this in the 60's. What occurs is, 2 chemicals mix when the container shatters and develops a new chemical that "sucks" the oxygen out of the room.

If you've ever walked into an un-ventilated room where a car battery is being charged (and the caps are off the top of the battery) and get close enough to it, you will experience having the breathe sucked right out of your lungs!

  • @HomerWinslow

    can you buy it somewhere?

  • Comment removed

  • I see what you did thar. They threw some ninja summon shit in thar. I've seen it in those japanese movies. Old technology is old.

  • I say you came here from 9gag! u mad?

  • It's probably just a capsule with non-flammable-gas-liberating substance inside.

  • Nobelprice

  • These "fire bombs" have been around since the 40's...nothing new there breh

  • Ya you guys do know that this has been around for a while now right? The same thing existed back i believe as far back as the famous Chicago fire. Its not that huge of an invention, all it is the chemical inside it burns faster than the actual fire and takes all oxygen away from the fire s it goes out...

  • what the duck?

  • has NO ONE else noticed that its made by 'bonex'?!! no wonder it hasn't taken off in other countries!

  • Aliens.

  • Comment removed

  • This technology existed 200 years ago...

  • Fire Extinguisher goes in, fire stops coming out,

    you can't explain that.

  • @frsupermoon Aliens

  • Magnets

  • @rebel1211888

The amount of ammonia released in that would render most electronics useless, given that is hideously corrosive. The best part of the clean extinguishers (e.g. Halon, CO2, noble gases) is that they don't kill the clean up crew after ventilation due to residue, and tend to leave your shit intact.

  • @wralphh - Maybe the person whose house is on fire? If you notice, it's in an enclosed space, presumably for a situation where someone's shit is on fire. You don't just see random fires. The ammonia would not make this useful for forest fires. The space needs to be enclosed, so you'd have to be inside something or other, and you tend to find people inside shit that catches fire. This is perfect for after everyone is out, but crap for before.

  • what is this for real!?!?!?

  • It's a reaction that gives off massive amounts of ammonia after reacting with the oxygen in the enclosed space. This then starves the fire. That's fine when no one's inside, but otherwise, that'll kill shit. People, animals, vegetation. Still, pretty fucking cool.

  • @TimTheAssassinMonkey who's gonna be inside the fire?

  • @TimTheAssassinMonkey much like the Halon extinguisher systems frequently used in server farms and mobile phone swithes.

  • Wasn't this around for some years? Carbon dioxide that absorbs oxygen, therefore cutting the fire's fuel off?

  • My best guess, looking at the dark-ness of the flames created when added the vial, it that the contect reacts extremely well with oxygen gas, killing the fire very effectively. Sadly, if that's the case, it's toxic to humans, and everything else for that matter.

  • Hole In The Fire!!!!

  • Can someone explain to me how a "breastfeeding at 8" video is related to this?

  • @ScienceOfThePS3 Japs and their hentai.

  • @ScienceOfThePS3 I wish I knew the answer.

  • fuckin chineses

  • Hole in the fire!

  • wtf is that?

  • can someone explain how did they do that? please

  • WUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO xD

  • Fire in the hole?

  • the person who invented this will become multi billionaire, another bill gates

  • Now throw a grenade for fun!

  • why they dont use this shit tu stop the disaster

  • wait if someone is stuck in a burning house and they throw this, wouldn't the person be frozen and die?

  • @randyrusli28 How bout to test that yourself.

  • its too bad our American scientist are so smart but cant invent simple stuff like this

  • @1roiboi American scientists, smart? Hell no. Why do you think all americn universities have good funds for foreign students?

  • @1roiboi nah - Oh we've got some stuff

    /watch?v=b2bExqhhWRI

    /watch?v=p08_KlTKP50

    /watch?v=xx3NUlmjLw0&feature=related

    /watch?v=oMdcWHnbhsw

The Germans have got some cool toys too - /watch?v=QfDoQwIAaXg

    /watch?v=UxPzodKQays

On balance I think the Germans win on presentation though.

  • @proadmin1 yeah i agree the Germans were the 1's who invented the 1st jet aircraft

  • @1roiboi Well, I guess it all depends how seriously we all take the international competition for science and engineering, it's a tough gig overall, scarce resources, dumb politicians and radicalized populations in various parts of the US, and meanwhile we're supposed to innovate - basically around all that crap - it's depressing but it's not like there's too much better elsewhere without up and learning German, Finish, Norse, Danish or Swedish , although Australia has some potential :)

  • @proadmin1 i see good conept, the only thing the US has is Military Technology i mean they used the GPS in Desert Storm before civilians ever knew about it.

  • @1roiboi Indeed, this is a simple invention. I once made 20 of these in my backyard. ಠ_ಠ

  • @booyaka3 haha that was a good 1

  • They seem to have a lot of container fires in Japan...

  • mal posso ver seus movimentos

  • warning: works only in enclosed spaces

  • The device must suck the oxigen, good invention ;)

  • Toothless Alligator sent me here

  • ...Because when I think of Japan, I think of superioty.

  • @repatomonor21 And-wait what?

  • Japanese people are working on the development of ways to put out fires.

American people are working on the development of ways to burn shit down

  • @Lechoni21 Sad and true.

  • @Lechoni21

Flamethrower VS Super soaker full of this.

  • @Lechoni21 Not all Americans, but a good majority.

  • @Rami22789 you are right. sorry for putting all of you in the same bag

  • w. w. w. thegavel.net/grenade.html

Shit was around back in 1860, we had fire grenades before it was mainstream.

  • @helikon06 That. Is both interesting and informative. Good comment.

  • Woooooooo

  • I see it works in an enclosed area but how does it do in a large environment?

  • @Raventhief20 You use two.

  • @Raventhief20 The range seems to be about 5 square meters. Just throw and watch.

  • 9gag!!!!!

  • if you need an explanation on how it works, watch this (watch?v=Fn-r4a4wfh8)

  • what the fuuuckkk ??? :D:D:DD howwww

  • sometimes they do stupid things, but when they want to create something... Japaneses ROCK!

  • LMAO

  • I googled and found the product:

"creates a chemical reaction where the burning oil will turn simultaneously to incombustible material"

  • Man I want the "this comment totally explains wtf is going in the video" button.

  • Anyone care to explain?

  • it wont work in open air

  • what sorcery is this?

  • LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

    THIS TIME THEY DID IT.

  • Well.. that's inside a huge container. Would it do the same in a ventilated place such as a garage or even outside?
