The problem with the auto dial is that if the alarm went off anyone could pick up the house phone (the line it uses to dial out) and hit # to confirm and disable the system. Or to make it easy just beat the shit out of it with a bat, no more alarm.

*** remove only if the door is locked ( that way you will not forget the door open ) and all the cords will be safe with the entire main system ... that systems has some bkp battery inside for 4 - 6 hour max ... in case of power supply failure..
the only thing i dont know hao to do is to overide the telephone line call and make it possible to use with the alarm a cellphone so even if they cut the telephone line .... the system will still be able to call me ...(any ideas ? )
i have an alarm system similiar to this one ... and i have the same question ...( first disable / destroy the switch button ..if it has.. second cover the sirens wire with an square metalic pipe which you will attach with screws on the wall and pass the wire inside so cut will be imposible.. ..third .. a metalic cover which youll attach on the possition of the powesupply ,siren and telephone line.. (as a easyer idea) put the system inside a metalic box with a lock door with a key you can ***

OK, I saw some questions below that could benefit from some answers. If the intruder smashes to pieces and you have the wireless siren, it will keep going. the wireless siren can be anywhere in or outside your house, the siren on the panel keeps going too. Because its wireless and has remotes you can hide the keypad it does not need to be in plain view. Now for the programing of it, some stuff is easy but some others can be a real pain. It looks and feels cheap but works well.
When my friend's house was broke into last year, the first thing the burglar did was smash to alarm control unit with a crowbar. So if this unit was smashed into pieces, would it still dial out? I guess that's a dumb question...
@stormtours no not dun at all. . . it would kill the system as its self contained. . a normal system take my menvier networker 4 example has keypads wiring panel and divices and with this they would need to smash the wireing panel so yea smashing this cheap shit on the system would muller it ! lol
just want to ask, for example someone broke into the house, then the alarm rings, what if the burglar closes the door? will the ring stop or still continue to call my cellphone?
